You clearly know theres something fundamentally wrong with the item and champion balancing when there is as many problems as

i dont know how riot wants to balance this game anymore, there is too much dmg done.

Cinderhulk (post nerf) era is now seen as the most healthy the game has ever been by many, and i completely agree.

Funny thing is the game wasnt even as balanced as people make it out to be since there was a ton of unbalanced and toxic stuff that was just held out of the meta.

Im not even saying those are op, my thesis is that the majority of people are not having as much fun when playing against those champions.

Please, go forth with your „But in diamond, Tryndamere is no problem" line of argumentation. That doesnt change the fact that diamond is 2.15 % of the playerbase, and the rest is bullied by the nonsense that are the kits of . This game is borderline unplayable atm.

The game is balanced around competitive play and this shouldn't change.

Yes, because every bronze player can theoretical climb to master, but no master player can drop to bronze.

You can improve yourself and get to a point were riven is balanced by learning counterplay. But a challenger riven (if she would be balanced around low elo) main couldn't force his lane opponent to forget rivens counterplay and make her viable.

I frequently watch a challenger streaming, and he keeps on ranting about how disgusting riven is when he sees her, even when he plays her himself. Now lets say the pro scene meta would be shaped a bit by lower elos (e.g. Riven not getting meta since lower elo needed her to be nerfed), would it really hurt? I mean there are a ton of champions that are not played competitively atm. Pro scene would still find its meta, but on the other side millions of players wouldnt be as disgusted with her. I just dont see a problem with that, and i dont get why pros would have a problem with that either. They are the ones decating their life to the game, and thus they will find out whats viable for them.

The best riven nerf would be a nerf that mostly affects low elo player, like increasing the length of her animations (pros will cancel them anyway) or decreasing the hitbox of her q

That's assuming that there's no middle ground where Riven can be balanced and fun for both high- and low-level players to play as/with/against. Ideally we'd like to find that happy medium, rather than balancing her around one end of the spectrum.
