veigar changes

I will make this a relatively short message.

Veigar needs a bigger rework. His stun is in a bad place right now (2.5 second AoE stun) and has little counterplay. But it will be in an even worse place after (delayed 2.5 second AoE stun.) Not to mention his kit is generally based around his stun. The way I see it, he needs some real attention. What Riot did with his Q was amazing. It was thought out, reviewed and ended beautifully (except for nerfing cool down. He has bad enough cooldowns without hitting this one). But the rest of his kit got little to no attention. His passive is outdated and doesn't interact with his AP farming style. Make his mana regen scale off AP and you have a great passive. His W is now just a farm tool. It either needs a lower drop time or a bigger hit radius. Not just reduced cool down and mana cost. And his E...... That needs more than it has here. They delay not only allows mobile champions to avoid it, but also hits his one line of defense. Stunning the diver and running away.

I suggest changing it to something like this. First. Reduce the stun at max rank. 2.0-2.25 is plenty, favoring the first option. Second, turn it into a linear skill shot. But have the circle have a small central pillar. What I think would be great is that he shoots an orb, similar to his q, that stops at the first enemy hit (minion or champion) after making contact, it will cause the event horizon to erupt. Giving the full circle with the center pillar stunning the target hit by the initial skill shot. Maybe you could even make it reactivate able in order for him to cause his cage to trigger wherever the orb currently is. Like a velkoz q or lissandra claw. I like this because it allows veigar to stun someone directly on top of him, gives warning to the enemy champion with its travel time, and still can be used creatively. You could even give the circumference portion of the circle the .75 sec delay and only have the center pillar stun immediately.

I would like to say that it is very possible Riot is waiting to see where Veigar is at before making more changes to him. However, I have seen champions that they throw a band aid at and then forget about. I sincerely hope the former is the case. Please let me know what you think about my concept, compliment or criticism.
