Lets talk about Varus

I like Varus. He was my first character i ever got, and he was my favorite character for a long time. Although i get salt thrown on me whenever i pick him for mid, i usually do good, so he's a good mid laner. But varus as an ADC is another story. I feel like he's an inferior ADC because of his lack of 'reliable' escape, and his inferior scaling into late game. i Feel like the only thing Varus got going for him is his Q, because it chunks hard and is good for harass. i feel like Varus would be in a better spot as an adc if his scaling and the slow on his E were to be increased.

What's your thoughts on Varus as a character?

Hell he even has builds centered around his Q Have you played Sniper Varus? It's fun.

Eh. I've only played him ADC and he is the most reliable for disabling a team revolved around engaging you. His E and R pretty much funnel enemies into a chain-2 second stun. Personally, he's very strong in-lane due to his passive and poking potential with tolerable mana-costs, and he can scale very well at all areas of the game thanks to his high ratio Q -- And his W is impacting at all levels of the game due to its %chunk of health chopped off up to 15% unless you get AP.

I think he has a very confused identity as an ADC. If you look at his q and e, they have ad scalings that are respectable and suggest a Bloodthirster route However, his w benefits from attack speed and synergizes with BorK passive, and his lack of mobility makes bork active very useful You will never build very efficiently on varus, because to get BorK weakens your q considerably and to get BT makes it more difficult to position and removes the % hp that is oh so necessary in this meta that synergizes with w

i agree. once i get my first 4 items, i'm totally clueless of what would be the next item that would actually benefit me the most. it's something i havent figured out yet.

Am i the only one who uses hybrid pen marks on him? I feel like it hurts my csing but the extra magic pen seems to make a difference on blight procs and ults
