Another way to deal with AD champions for AP Champions

I've seen alot of threads in the boards asking for buffs to Zhonyas, new AP Armor item, and nerfs to hex/Maw so I experimented in a game to find a new way to better deal with AD champions and found that Frozen Heart can work better than Zhonyas. I build both anyway just to be tanky.

This item gives double the armour of Zhonyas, Mana, CDR, and it's much cheaper than Zhonyas by 700 gold. It's everything an AP champion could want except for AP.

It's funny to see Zed's who think they can ult me and quickly kill me with this build only to fail and I can tell them in all chat, "Zed don't focus the tank."

Reminds me of the time I played Veigar into Yasuo.

First item rushed item 3143 , proceeded not to die ever to Yasuo during the laning phase.

Haha, I just remembered the days back when I was a Yasuo main back in S4.

Vieger really was my favorite matchup because I could just breathe on him gently and he'd still explode since every Veigar back then built glass cannon.

Since the roles were reversed, it really wasn't too hard to figure out what to do to counter Yasuo at that stage.

Or, you know, respect the damage of assassins in lane, so they don't snowball into uncontrollable monsters by 15 minutes....

I'm pretty sure building a purely defensive item against your lane opponent counts as "respecting their damage"...

Respecting their damage means going back to base when your health is dangerously low. And against assassins, especially after 6 when assassins get their full combo and you don't have flash or seekers, dangerously low can be 2/3 to 3/4 full HP.
