@Meddler - your thoughts on Jinx's current state
Can you please tell me your thoughts on the current state of Jinx? As it stands I feel like she is not worth considering in almost any game because of her extreme lack of mobility and need to ramp up in terms of items and basic attacks. There are so many champions, old and new, that have dashes and blinks that it makes no sense to play one without any mobility or escapes. She only has a telegraphed skillshot slow that makes her stop moving and a delayed snare that just tends to draw out her death a few seconds.
"Stay out of range and get better at positioning" That's great if you can do it. Positioning is important too of course but when everyone popular right now has a dash, jump, blink or some combination of those you can't make a single mistake. Ever. I'm not the greatest player, far from it, but when every single mistake is punished you're basically forced into "pick meta X, Y, or Z" or you put yourself and your team at a huge disadvantage. There is nobody forcing me or anyone to play specific champions but let's face it only a handful are viable. The rest are either due for reworks or stuck in the "maybe they will be buffed sometime in the future" pit and Jinx is in that pit right now.
I'm not stupid, I know that it's an almost impossible task to perfectly balance so many champions so they are all viable but when specific champions are known to have no mobility in a game where every new champ has a mix of dashes, blinks, 3-hit mechanics and / or %HP damage it really doesn't work out for a champion I really enjoy playing.

has made almost any auto attacking ADC a tower shredder with the bonus of increased range now and then.
gives all ADC more than it ever did meaning it's more likely to be built than before.
