Tweak to Feeder Buster

  1. There is a new intentional feeder detection system that has been banning out intentional feeders outright. We have a record low in number of players who are actually intentionally feeding (the old days of 0-20 and 5 Zeals are gone).

can we tweak it so that if a player has more than 10 deaths in a game then the feeder buster automatically red flags the account. once the account has passed a threshold (a certain percentage of his recent games) he gets a warning and eventually starts getting bans for being a feeder. It doesn't have to be 10 deaths but maybe based on KDA. so if your KDA is for example under 2.0 for that game, the system will automatically red flag the account. Once the system has gathered a percentage of these red flag games (say over 10% of recent games) the system then sends this account to a riot employee or tribunal to determine pardon or punishment.

i don't mind if the player has more than 10 deaths and he has like 30 assists but the system needs to red flag the player that is 7-14 with 9 assists (or worse if he has under 5 assists). that's why the feeder buster should red flag the account so that a riot employee can have a look at his match history and determine if he is a troll or a bad player when he is 7-14 with 9 assists and when that player is 7-14 with 30 assists.

i don't need players that go 7-14 with 9 assists every game ruining my playing experience when i am 2-4 and most of the time 2 or 3 of my deaths have resulted because of their feeding.

I honestly don't know how RIOT would be able to tell if the person is a feeder just by reviewing the match. The person could just be a bad player, which imo it doesn't deserve any actual punishment. If the person is "feeding" to try and make plays, I don't think they should deserve punishment either, especially if they are a tank/support/jungler. If you start doing things based of score, it makes it so KDA is the only thing that matters and people will start playing that way.

I honestly dnt gib a fuq bout feeders, maybe they just suck? idk I dont want them banned, theyr just gonna come back to the game and still suck

The problem is people are ALL OVER THE PLACE too many people are where they DONT belong either too good or too bad, this is why some people feed so hard srsly idgaf but more has to be looked at other than how many games a person has won cuz they might as well have been carried

Feeder Buster is for intentional feeders, players that actually purposely die to enemies, not players who are actually trying to win. 7-14 isn't going to get someone banned if they're just being outplayed, I doubt even 0-20+ would. Why would anyone get banned for being less skilled or making more mistakes than their opponents? Players that die a lot and lose games will drop ranks. Also, everyone feeds, so it's hypocritical to get mad at someone for having a bad game and making mistakes. Everyone has had games where they have played bad and were the cause of their loss, and in those games the others call you the feeder. You might get a feeder and lose 10 games in a row, but each of those feeders was likely a different player, and those 10 players all had carried and won their previous 9 games. So, you would just be unlucky. Relax and just move on to the next game, focusing only on your mistakes.

So you want to ban people for being bad at the game? Well people wouldnt be bad if you were placed with baddies because youre a baddie :^) Once I lose lane, as a support (only as a support do i do this because kda doesnt mean crap on a support, and youa rent supposed to get kills) do I "intentionally" feed but for a specific reason

if you get down to it, by the time bot has lost the support has generally died on average 3-4 times, without any kills and little or no assists and little to no farm(unless you bought relic shield) so by now, your gold value as a kill is not 300~ gold, it is around 150~

now there gets a point to where somebody dies so much without contributing to kills that their gold value drops (because why get tons of gold for an easy and sucky target?) this was retweaked a while back to balance out more (to combat feeders aswell) so nowadays if you die around 7~ times without any kills (you can have all the farm you want, little assists 3 or less) your gold value is around the same of a melee minion (17-25 gold) HOWEVER if you do get a kill it used to reset, and youd be worth 300 gold again until you died 7 times without kills

so take this in mind, your ratio of gold worth to deaths and assists is 7deaths to every 3/5 assist keeps you at a low gold value.

So basically this allows you to split push and die alot without giving them a real advantage (if your team can defend well) because every time you die its 25 gold or less

and by the time you are farmed up youre either A: doing a crap ton of dmg cus you caught up from farming or B: a super tank and you go in asborb all the ults, do some CC and die and it becomes ACE for 25 gold advantage your team

TLDR: Feeding isnt all that bad if you know how to work it.
