Riot your recent balance changes will make people lose interest in Worlds.

Worlds, (and other competitive games for that matter), should be a direct mirror to casual play and the extremes that people can push the system in their favor. By nerfing/buffing specific champions specifically for Worlds, you have created an artificial game that isn't representative of the game people have been playing.

People won't look at Worlds and think, "Jeez, these people are amazing, look how mobile Kayne has been with his ganks and look how far that champion is being pushed to get those results!" The reason people won't say that is because you will realise a large reason why he is performing well in that game, (or why he's even being played), is because you - Riot - buffed him, ONLY for that niche timeline at Worlds. Kayne at Worlds isn't a representation of Kayne this season, and Sejuani sure as shit isn't either.

Stop buffing/nerfing the champions you want to see at Worlds Riot, and let competitive always be mirror to casual play and how far the people can push it, because we don't want to see the fucking champions you want to see a Worlds, we want to see the champions we have been playing with/against at Worlds.

I haven't watched competitive league of legends regularly since Season 5. After Season 4 Worlds blew me the fuck away, every opening ceremony has been boring/unable to live up to Season 4's massive hype (understandable, I'm sure Riot paid out the fucking ass to get Imagine Dragons to play live at the event). And the game itself has gotten so boring to actually watch. It's like Dunkey said:

"The first 10 minutes is just everybody farming under tower with the occasional tower dive for first blood. After that both teams just wander around the map farming until one dumbass gets caught out."

That's not fun to watch. I used to dream about being a pro player, but today? Fuck that. Who the fuck would want to play a game as a pro when first of all, you don't get to have a unique team identity outside of "We played the meta better than the enemy team", and secondly, you never have a chance of winning worlds because Korea isn't allowed to lose? Competitive league of legends sucks ass now.

why not just make a separate version of the game for pro play already

Well I think to some extent you're right. It would be a lot better if they stopped trying to enforce certain champs to be picked in pro play.

What I think you're wrong about is that pro play can be a mirror of casual play. There are some champs that just aren't good in organized play because their kit is pointless when you're thinking about designing a teamcomp as a cohesive unit instead of just having individual players picking whatever they feel like. The game has always been like this and as you look at higher and higher MMR the meta looks more similar to pro play because the higher MMR players understand team comps better than lower MMR players.

There will always be huge differences between casual and pro play. But I agree Riot should stop trying to force specific champs to get picked in Worlds every season.

Few of the playerbase was interested in it in the first place.

Anyone wanna see a Yi pentakill on Worlds or the pre-reworked AP Nunu 5 man ult pentakill? No? Ok. Me neither.

Casual and pro really couldn't be more different. Almost all the pub stomping champions are unanimously no good in pro play, for exclusively one reason: DRAFT.

People in solo q enter games, typically, with one idea in mind, and that is to play the champion they want to. Junglers play assassins, top laners play carries, and nobody bothers to patch the massive gaps it leaves in their team comps. There's only so many Galio games I can play before I lose my mind.

At least it will be better than ardent censor 2017, I mean worlds 2017

Again, pretty sure they came out with a post that said they couldn't afford anymore major changes due to how abysmal midseason was. People need to understand that as much as they would LOVE to change some things (Jhin), they can't because of the unstable mess that was created by midseason. One change could alter more than what was necessary. Like, nothing is wrong with being upset and posting your frustrations, but straight up demanding stuff to be done now with no ifs ands or buts is asking for a disaster to strike out of nowhere and ruin everything that is trying to re-stabilize, solo and competitive.

They're balance team is doing amazing right now, what are you talking about, in fact they're doing almost as great of a job as their PR department.

Kayns buffs aren't even significant. He's part of a general pass at champions that do damage fine but could be better with better utility. They did the same kind of buff to yi, the same patch. Does this mean they're trying to get to to appear at worlds? I doubt it

For some reason ppl dislike the tank metas and that's why they are nerfing champs like Sej, such a shame, she's one of the best Score's picks.
