New season 6 Champ select sucks

So I do like how they reworked the animations on it and it looks amazing. But removing team builder was dumb in my opinion. Now its gonna be even harder for people who are new to champions to learn that champion cause now they may be stuck with selecting 2 positions instead of that one that team builder had. I mainly used team builder to learn new champions because I would get the lane I wanted but now I have to hope on a 50 50 chance that I will get that lane and its just annoying cause now people cant learn a champ as easily. And not everyone is good with lanes. I also like that team builder let you choose your lane because some people are not good with certain roles or lanes. This is just my few cents and I just really think team builder should be added back to the game anyone else think so?

My main issue with the new system is that if you don't manually lock in the champion you have selected, it forces you to queue dodge, while in the old system you would be locked in automatically with whatever champion was selected. This has lead to me and others accidentally queue dodging and it makes it just as long to get into a game as when we were waiting for team builder to find a support (I liteerally got queue dodged for 20 minutes straight yesterday before I finally shut down my laptop and left because I was sick of waiting to play the game). Please fix this Riot, its very inconvenient and defies common sense.

Upvoted. I totally agree. While the effects look cool, it's very unnecessary. It makes everything slower and cheesier.

Team builder is the perfect training ground for newbies and those who wanted to be good with a specific champ.

I'd say keep this format for normal draft and ranked but retain Team Builder mode.

Just my 2 cents. (8 years doing UI/UX and design quality inspection.)

Keeps giving me my second Role. Played 10 games where people have dodged. Always gave me my second role.

I think this new champ select sucks too, here's why : First off, i dont think its a 50/50 chance because in 9 games ive got my main role twice(mid 1st jg 2nd).

Second off, they didn't take in consideration people who doesn't play ranked and only played team builder like me. Now im stuck with a crapy ass mmr because it didnt transfer from Teambuilder. I went from playing versus gold and plat to bronze.

Last thing, they completely deleted Team builder which gives you a 100% chance to play what you want, which was the best feature that lol ever had in my opinion. Ahri

This replaces ranked draft perfectly, but it takes away everything team builder was for.

I quit lol this year because of the new champion select. I love the game but the new one just sucks. it takes me on average 10-20 minutes to find a game. Not wasting my time, hoping no one will dodge. The duration of preselecting champion should be cut down to 10 sec.

Flashy animation and shit. I went back to DOTA 2 until this shit changes..

Thanks Riot. Now i have more time to spare.

Accidentally queue dodging happens to me every 2-3 games. This new system sucks hard. Kicked because I didnt lock in ? Seriously ?

It takes on average 20minutes before I actually find a game, if you are to take into consideration every lobby creation + cancelation +d another lobby creation + cancelation +... time.

It sucks.

Another problem about the new selection is, that if you pick your First role / fill, you will get 90% Support. I was used to go jungle / fill in teamchat, and i got jungle in 60% and more of the games, otherwise I got a random role which was left.

I have no problem with supporting, i really like it - but the system forces me to pick another role second to secure at least a moderate chance to get my main role. I am not sure how to fix it, but i am sure that many of these "I have no problem to support but not every game" - people wont pick support or even "fill" as their second role at the current state of this selection.
