Literally dying in Bronze

I often win my lane as Yorick in normals, so I began playing Yorick in ranked. Not bad, 5-2 so far and each time I have won my lane as well. But no matter how well you do, you are always at the mercy of your team and whether or not they have a brain. I feel like this is seriously luck and games are decided in champ select. I have a roughly 70% wr this season, which is far higher than last season (40%). I try so hard to get out of Bronze, but alone it is impossible. It feels like you are constantly trying to 1v9. Here is my last game. I even got a 1v4 unofficial quadrakill. Most damage dealt, most farm, and most towers destroyed. I thought maybe I could climb out of this hellhole, but this last game seriously raises my doubts. I might be in the wrong role, I'm ok at adc and support, jungle is boring, and I suck at mid. I like top because it is often ignored and I can do my own thing with little interaction, but I am finding you don't have that big of an impact on the game. Discuss

Having a good score, the most damage etc doesn't always mean you played the best. Just for instance, imagine this: You are winning lane. Have the turret and are pushing and pressuring the enemy top laner. He TPs down bot in coordination with his jungler and they knock down your mid lane and two towers while you push and get his second tower. When if you also TP'd you could have helped in the fight and even if no kills came of it or you stopped them from killing your teammates or taking a tower or something.... is that a better play than getting your top tower?

It was a hypothetical situation, but the point is to demonstrate that best score doesn't often mean you actually performed the best. I'd rather have a 2/5/10 Vi that helped us save two towers, hold off in team fights than a 13/2/3 Master Yi or Yasuo or something who refuses to group or help the team capture objectives. I'm not saying you were like that, but again, the point I'm trying to illustrate is that personal performance is not always indicative of performing well for your team or fulfilling the function needed out of you to win the game.

Hope that make sense.

In bronze you have to accept as a FACT that your team will always be doing the wrong thing. Win a team fight but need to push top and bot waves? Too bad, you better run it back down mid with your team or they'll die 4v5 and blame you for "always farming", not understanding the importance of farm, lane pushing or paying attention to the fucking fact that THEY ran into a 4v5, you didn't shove them.
