Give Poppy MR per level

I mean, you guys said you were going to give her a big overhaul one... two... three... probably four years ago by now. And the only thing you did was nerf her by making her dash not collide with other units such as minions making her E easily counter-able by simply not standing near a wall. The least you can do is make her not be one of the few melee champions that STILL does not get magic resist per level even though you said a long time ago that you would give it to her... eventually.

Wow, give Riot some credit. They have a lot of things to work on that are more important than a rarely used Poppy

Of course a champion that has been abandoned since day one is rarely used. Just look at Evelynn before Riot reworked her.

And no, I don't give Riot very much credit. It's their lack of consistency that had me leave the game for over a year and a half over broken promises of fixes and other things that they failed to deliver. And besides, it's hard to give credit on a change you've been waiting four years for and it still hasn't happened even though Riot said time again and again it will and it still hasn't. I don't think I can really be faulted for that.

To say Poppy isn't important enough because enough people don't use her is not a very good reasoning when she has been purposely left in the dust so that nobody uses her just like what happened for old Evelynn until her rework. If she was fixed, I, and a lot of other people would use her a lot more. I don't think that's very complicated to realize -- Give a champion that's crap and barely functional, not very many people are going to play them. Give a champion that's fun and playable, people will use it.

Besides, giving MR per level is hardly a time consuming change when it has been "four years in the making" where her rework looks to be no where closer to coming since they said they were going to help her since mid 2011. Hell, Soraka has nearly had more reworks than Poppy has had mentions in patches.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhh no.

The toxic pile of garbage that is the current poopy will not be getting buffs, and Riot has as much as promised a hairtrigger on the nerfs if she even so much as looks to be getting popular.

I don't think modernizing her to have MR per level like every other melee champion will suddenly ascend her into god tier. I don't think people realize how annoying it can be when you get her in ARAM, as in, you may have to play her and not have a choice.

I will admit though that Singed needed MR per level more than she did for patch 5.13, considering he is even more "in your face" than Poppy is. I don't even play Singed and I think that's a big step in the right direction; but this also adds further to my frustration because Poppy needs that exact same kind of attention that she's been denied for so long.

Poppy is so fun to play kit wise (in my opinion). But she's so awkwardly weak 90% of the time that it ends up being frustrating because some mage decides to Q her and there goes half of her health even with the passive unless she is building full tank, in which case all the peeling she can do is her dash which is easily avoided by not standing near a wall until 40 minutes into the game where she can finally begin to have some form of presence by then if she hasn't been denied into oblivion as she has next to no wave clearing capabilities.

Even if her W gave magic resist on activation such as when she is engaging, it would be a lot better. Riot seriously needs to give her some kind of life preserver. Having such a ridiculously weak champion that's nearly borderline unplayable in all of the game modes cannot possibly ever help the game's condition. It's unhealthy and it's not a kind of behavior people should be accepting in my opinion. Poppy is the prime example but she certainly isn't the only champion that has received this kind of treatment.
