Please Riot... Remove time ban when you dodge queue once

I really think that this is a poor decision on the part of Riot. Sure I understand if you dodge queue two or three times in a row that you may be intentionally dodging queue's to mess with people... even though I don't see how anyone would do that for fun.

  1. With the new client, people have glitching champ selects due to your problems on your end (even though 90% of the time you make it seem like it's a problem on the users end). Even though it's your mess up, you slap a 5 minute wait time next time they queue up. Personally, when this happens to me, I just leave and will go play a game such as CS: GO that doesn't have wait times usually unless you've actually been a disturbing player.
  2. Honestly, I like the option for people to dodge with no time wait instantly. Too often, I have gone in to champ select, someone has picked a troll champion, but no one will dodge simply because they'll have to wait to get into the next game. Low and behold, we lose the game with the said player going 0/10/0 (you get my point). Just last game we had a person who locked in Kassadin support. Don't try to tell me it's the new MF support. That's straight troll/terrible pick. His E procs way less down in the bottom lane, and even as a carry Kassadin gets shredded by AD champions. I dodged queue and got a nice wait time do to someone elses troll pick. I personally do not agree that this is reasonable and would like an answer as to why this rules is as it is currently.

I doubt you'll respond to me rito... but if you do I appreciate it. K Thx Bai P.S. Why did you have to buff MasterYi -__- he's everywhere in silver now.

I have gone in to champ select

no one will dodge simply because they'll have to wait to get into the next game.

So that includes you not willing to dodge

I have never had a problem with the client as far as point 1 is concerned.

This would also lead to such a huge increase in waiting for a game to start. Just an awful idea really.

while i disagree with not punishing for que dodges until riot fixes their new client the punishment should be less severe

I forgot that everyone else is holding a gun to your head and telling you to dodge or you're gonna get shot

Oh right, that's not what's happening. You have the choice to not dodge the game. You deserve every punishment you get, I don't care what "troll" champions people pick.

People do. Regularly.

With the new client, people have glitching champ selects

I haven't heard of anybody still having these issues, especially consistently, for a good while now.

I dodged queue and got a nice wait time do to someone elses troll pick.

This is the only part of your post that has any merit. The thing is, Riot has no way to tell when this is happening when someone leaves a queue, and considering how goddamn long it takes to get into a match with people dodging even with the current first-dodge penalty timer, removing it would destroy your chances of ever getting into a game. Someone got their secondary role and decided they didn't want it? Dodge. Someone decided to play Ashe instead of Jhin and one of their teammates disagrees with the pick? Dodge. Someone says their favorite color is green? Dodge.

They've said they want to improve the response system to people dodging so that you can actually give a reason as to why you left, but that's likely a good ways down the line.

Why did you have to buff MasterYi

There are so many counters to Yi lol

In the end, would you rather have to wait five minutes, knowing that said five minutes is also imposed on people that dodge for malicious reasons, or spend at least twenty with a griefer?

You should get a lower priority queue for dodging, period. It's the same as leaving a game and should be just as punishable.
