this patch is very punishing

if you don't know what you're doing, games really suck

if you do know what you're doing, games are actually pretty fun.

I don't think this is a bad thing.

This patch made it much more punishing to be a bad laner since early minions are worth more gold, towers go down faster, TP is weaker and less prevalent, and flask is no longer in the game and you can't just stack tons of health potions. Getting bullied out of lane at lvl 3 is actually punishing now.

honestly I think it's always been bad to get bullied out of lane. I think that it should be possible for one player to lose lane in cs and if they have utility as a champion, still be meaningful in a fight. but, losing lane has always been a bad thing. and I think that the game punishing this harder now, doesn't in reality change anything about the nature of the game, but forces people to learn good decision making when before some people could get away with being able to carry solo if they won lane. honestly, this actually could in the long run decrease "toxicity" because you don't have people who are used to winning hard and don't actually get why they lose the game. because now you get punished hard for your mistakes. I mean in the short run, you'll still have one lane being toxic because another lane fed. but in the long run people will learn that this is part of the game in a way they wouldn't have learned it before. optimist

its , ehh , as a sup main , im just tired of soraka bot every game , abusing the heal mastery (-o - ) and tryn and yasuo

tbh I've actually been unimpressed with soraka. she forces farming, but then when team fights come by and objectives she only offers extra health and even tho that's "better" than ever on her, it's also less meaningful than before.

I mean I'd say she's certainly strong, but I've seen sona do more because she can force fights bot lane and is better kitted to enable snowballing, which means the most.

I even faced a soraka/graves bot, and it was clear she knew what she was doing and while the graves didn't master him yet he was reliably able to fight and hit his damage well. and we were caitlyn and taric I believe, we were able to just counter any engage and farm bot lane, and then when roaming started to happen my stun and her traps ended up meaning more than sorak's heals and grave's insane damage. that, if graves had been able to snowball whether from bot or from an early roam, we wouldn't have been able to compete with him, but because soraka forced a farm lane the other lanes were all ahead of any of us bot.
