I barely saw Fiddlesticks in season 7..

Riot really cucked him with all the jungle changes.... Its just better to play him mid/suppot now. Sad.

Hopefully hes in line for a rework, would love to see and get a rework together with changes to fear/ adding champions with sleep.

His clear somewhat became better if you took manaflow band... or whatever rune that gives free mana once a minute, which makes his sustain really good.

The problem is that everyone became squishier AND deals more damage, so he just blows up whenever he shows up. Your only hope is to surprise enemies with ult.

Also there's not a single capstone rune that benefit him. I ended up taking glacial augment so i could slow enemies while ganking. Also the support tree gives free stuff like boots and stopwatch, which helps him get his core items faster.

I think that some QoL buffs would be welcome. To name a few:

-Drain should refund mana equal to duration remaining, or simply cost 20mana/sec. This change would give him some actual waveclear (besides ulting a minion wave), also he struggles so much at clearing chickens. His drain is his primary damage tool, it's a shame that he's so limited in its use.

-Ult's cooldown goes on a 10 second cooldown when it gets interrupted , or if Fiddle dies, while channeling. They fixed many ults like Lux and Nami to refund their CD if they die while casting, there's no reason Fiddle can't get the same.

I did see him quite a bit in Diamond elo. Probably more in mid than as a jungler :)

He's really outdated, that's the issue. Only way he's ever gonna be good is by abusing something.

Luckly supportsticks died pretty quickly

I did....people were spamming him as an off-meta support for quite a few patches given the amount of gold he could rack up by spamming his Bird Blast.

It was awful.
