Maybe your Diana should play better. Literally no reason a 7-0 Diana should die to a 0-1 yi unless he has a lot more farm.

He probably farmed jungle and had sated at the time. Also, he probably outplayed Diana, because a 7/0 Diana with the right items should easily kill a 0/1 master yi.

He probably just farmed the entire time.

Yi is technically an assassin, but plays like an ADC. As a Diana, between your knock up and shields, you shouldn't have trouble bursting him down. A simple Q, R, AA, W, E, AAs, Q, R, R combo is more than enough to 100-0 Yi.
