Promoted to and demoted from s2 a whole bunch of times just this week

Every time I win the promo to s2, the next few games are unbalanced as hell with the other teams just wayyy better. I would've thought the promo itself would be unbalanced, but no. The promos themselves are nowhere near as bad as the games after promos. Why is that.
