So, if we keep getting such a steady stream of champions....
...am I crazy for thinking that the number of champion bans in ranked should increase as well? With there now being over 130 champions, I feel like 6 bans total just isn't enough.

Yes you are because there's nothing wrong with the state of the game. You guys are just overeating to and mocking the terrific job we're doing. - Riot logic.
There are way too many toxic and / or broken champions in the game right now, and despite your claim wanting to avoid creating frustration...frustration still exists, has existed for years in some cases, and continues to fly out of the developer doors without any thought going into the repercussions of each new champion launch.
Riot, we need ten bans. End of story. There is nothing more to discuss since every time you comment on it, you're all talked up a tree and end up abandoning the discussion, there are no arguments that don't have counter-arguments, and there is no reasonable explanation as to why we haven't gotten them yet - or there is, and you don't want to mention it due to the potential rioting and looting flaming on the boards.
Look, if the pro scene is that big of an issue, keep the six bans. I get it, someone's entire champion pool can be banned out, and it won't look pretty for the spectators when the poor guy has to play something he isn't comfortable on. That's fine, but in solo queue or even draft in general, no one knows who's on the other team, ergo, that's a ridiculous notion to argue unless you're a one-trick pony abusing something generic like Riven; in which case, if you're getting banned out by a single button click, that's your damn fault.
Each player should be able to ban the one champion they don't want to see on the other team, and the preferred pick you're introducing with the new draft system will more often than not protect someone who you would otherwise hinder. Also, ten bans doesn't even take away a twelfth of the roster, it's actually close to a thirteenth with more champions coming in the future...and this is an issue because? Oh, because it isn't an issue...
Don't worry, they'll increase the number of bans eventually. It's just a question of when.I'm sure by the time we have 200 champs, the bans will go up.....by 1.
Therein lies another problem: it will eventually be impossible to balance such a huge amount of champions. I see them stopping at 200
I think one of the main issues with that is target banning could become a serious issue. In a team situation where you've scouted the enemy team, you could even ban out somebody with a really large champion pool and that would suck. I think the point is that it's not a tool to blindly take out whoever you happen to think is OP at the moment. It's to help you not have to deal with bad lane matchups/throw the enemy off.
The 6 ban system in my opinion is good, because it removes the champions that the community thinks is currently op and adding more bans would take out even more potential champs that each team might want, and increases the pre game lobby time by about15-30 seconds, i can see it being done in the future if the community calls for it, if the community doesn't, then people would probably be displeased
There aren't even 6 champions worth banning right now. Giving people more bans just lets people start banning annoying champions in addition to OP champs.
No, 3 bans is enough. Fizz only costs one ban.
