So could Sona see a comeback?
I'll be the first to admit I'm doing this off of a small sample size, so far only 3 games with Sona since the patch, however I've noticed some considerable difference in playing her now vs last season and I think a lot of it has to do with the new masteries. Windspeaker's Blessing and Runic Armor are the two glaring changes I've noticed so far both giving 10% and 8% bonus healing and shield respectively, which let's her double dip buffing both parts of her W while returning a little bit of the resistance buffs it used to provide to your allies.
Additionally with meditation and mana regen on spellthiefs I've noticed I haven't had any mana issues while running her so far. Her poke is the same as ever getting all 3 procs of the spellthiefs and doing decent damage. She seems to combo almost brutally well with the Caitlyn rework specifically allowing for some very aggressive poke.
She still has the same squishiness as always, but it seems like her W is relevant again for the first time in a long while allowing her the ability to out sustain lanes once again without going completely oom to do it.
So what do you guys think, think Sona might actually make a comeback from the irrelevancy she has been stuck in since she got dumpstered with her rework?
