Duo queue is already OP enough, trio queue or more would just be too much of an advantage unless you're willing to trade longer wait times in order to make sure both sides have the same size groups for fairness. Well, that's assuming you care about fairness; based on your post what you actually want is to get carried out of your Elo more easily because you assume that you're clearly good enough to be higher if only the rest of your team was able to read your mind and do exactly what you want them to do. And then you equate "serious players" with anyone who has more skilled friends for some reason.
If you're just looking to have fun with friends there's normals, there's 3v3, there's custom games, you can still play or practice with your "team" if that's what you want, but I honestly think duo queue is too much of an advantage already.
