Overall, too much damage is killing this game for me
It feels like no matter who I play or what game mode i do, my average lifespan in a fight is maybe 2 seconds. That's being generous sometimes, sadly.
Now, I'm not great at the game and I know that. But nowadays when an assassin looks at me i just kind of dont care. I know full well that im going to die in .49 seconds with little to no counterplay. I know that if some champs get even 1 kill they'll snowball so hard that for the next 20 mins ill be dying in .5s whenever they want me to.
And know what? It's NOT FUN AT ALL. This has become a disgusting abomination of damage where the fight is decided AS IT HAPPENS instead of WHILE IT HAPPENS. the first second of a fight generally decides it because in that first second most combatants have lost over 3/4 health.
It's very frustrating to play and VERY VERY boring to watch. I watched my first bit of "esports" today and found myself even more bored than regular sports (which i also dont like). 4 seconds of action decides the whole 20+ minute game and its honestly super boring. This is coming from a guy that dislikes conventional sports and really does want esports to be big.
So my question to RIOT is this: Do you think damage and more specifically burst is too high right now? Also, do you think the assassin rework will help at all? (Because I think its only going to make it worse and put that last nail in the coffin for many. REALLY hoping not though!).
