Or I can just play
and get it for free at level 1. Same movespeed bonus and all, lmao
but now you can play Janna and have double passive power
Are you telling me, that I should build
over
on her?
SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
gotta go fast
yup i can already tell this will be also unpopular, it might be very helpful but not at all to you,most people liked the other quest because for the first time it felt like supps got something that is not entirely dedicated to being someones side-kick,because it helps u support rather that directly supporting the teammates this is entirely dedicated to helping others and you wont feel its effects at all, so it won't be as fun or won't feel like a huge "accomplishment" like the other ones ;-;
Riot should make it to help the support, not the support's teammate;because the support exists for that.
I mean certain supports can benefit from this because an ally is running towards them faster....
Now I have my passive TWICE
Now I have my passive TWICE
I"M SO PUMPED
I can understand why this is the reward: the only supports who utilize coin generally rely more on utility and therefore need to be able to affect the flow of battle.

Well at least the benefit doesn't literally disappear at level 18 anymore, and its technically stronger in same cases i guess, but its also vehemently less satisfying of a reward than the LEAST satisfying reward. Its almost impressive.
Still gunna be shit. If I'm using Talisman, the Talisman's massive boost will make this minor one feel non-existant, and if not, who the fuck goes coin with the intention of using it's pathetic eye-stone?
They need to rework the Coin's STATS and quest reward (The gold mechanic is ok I'd guess). Early CDR on a support starting item is very counter-intuitive generally for any mana using character, because then you are casting more frequently (with weaker skills, in this case), doubly weaker compared to a heal-shield amp version, or a comparable Spellthief start granting AP and a significant boost to damage output.
I think Coin should have Heal-Shield power instead of CDR (5% at first form, 10% on Medallion and the Eye-stone, and 20% on Talisman (with it's new component taken into account)), and for Talisman just swap the Raptor Cloak for Forbidden Idol and adjust the stats as such. Talisman, to me, stands out as the premier enchanter support starting item, but it feels like this hybrid bastardization of an enchanter and warden item, and is lackluster at both.
As for a Quest for the Coin line, why not something that plays to what Enchanters do? Something like Heals and Shields on Allies make you run toward each other 15% faster. This allows aggressive enchanters like Rakan to E to his frontline/ally before popping his RW combo to help them follow up, or defensive enchanters like Janna or Soraka speed up allies as they kite away from an enemy.
This would be a terrible change, lol. For one thing Janna already exists, no need to put her passive on an item. For another, the whole point of the support quests was to encourage people to play them by giving them a "selfish" reward so they wouldn't feel bad about getting the least gold and xp. Getting rid of the free ability point in exchange for an aura passive doesn't make sense.
People will still buy coin because the gold generation is OP now, but most solo queue players won't care much about the quest anymore.
gold generation may be OP, but it is a lot more conditional than
;
only gives u not even 10 seconds of window to pick up your gold, and it frequently would make u mispositioned. Leaving lane for roaming will result in multiple shares of gold being lost entirely.
gives u around up to 30 seconds of window to pick up your gold, and it's harder to be mispositioned than the above due to the more-forgiving time frame. Leaving lane for roaming will result in only partial share of gold lost.
give u up to 120 seconds of window to pick up your gold, and it's very unlikely to ever have to be mispositioned for that gold. Leaving lane for roaming usually results in 0 gold lost.
With the comparisons above, it only seems logical that coin's gold generation has to be OP in order for it to be viable.
These changes will make the item even more unappealing than it is currently.
The coin line needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
Frankly I prefer skill point than meh janna passive
That Passive would fit Tanks much better than any utility "Stay Behind" Support. I still don't see why Soraka, Janna or any of these passive Supports would buy it, as they are squishy all game long.
Maybe some Tanks will consider buying Talisman of Ascension for engaging with the whole team, but I doubt it...
: they can now play even more passive cuz the passive makes it easier for teammates to run toward them for heal/shield.
it definitely seems better suited for tanks tho
Honestly I missed this effect on boots. No it's not some huge impacting change, but it's a constant benefit throughout the game. And frankly since bot lane is highly ganked anymore there's a lot of time where just a little bit of MS would have gotten your adc away.
Faster dog-piling, faster roaming, faster retreating. Just overall nice to have. +1 skill level to me on most supports didn't feel that relevant anyway. (I know it probably was on some, but like... not really for the most part)
I'd prefer if it were something like an out of combat MS effect, either just on you or in an aura.
WTF all theses comments Oo This effect is strong, like very strong.
This is the biggest example of an item stepping on a champion toes before.
But tbh as long as it stacks with
's passive it's fine with me.
