Ranked games which have afks should not make the 4 non afks lose lp
I just played a game of ranked after a win. For the first win I got 25 lp, and I was quite happy. 2nd game our Udyr
goes afk at around 10-12 minutes. So the game ended up being 36 minutes long. So we have to sit there for almost 26 minutes wasting our time because we cannot win. Then when they end up winning we actually lose lp? That's not fair, only the afk should lose lp, and the other players on the afk's team should not. Riot already makes us stay in the game for 26 minutes with no real way of winning when there is an afk, without letting us just stop the game or be able to leave ourselves. Then on top of that we lose lp because it was an impossible game to win? It's just not fair and frankly really mean of riot. They make you sit through a game with which you can't win, and at the end penalize you for losing a game in which you can't win.
Some might just say that 4v5s are somewhat winnable, but its not fair if you lose when its not your fault. I lost lp from that game so with the 2 games I played I only gained 5. Seriously Riot? I'm fine with losing because the enemy team is better, but when we lose because theres an afk, and you still treat it as we lose a 5v5... It's just stupid. With all this crap about afks, you do a good job of punishing them but those afks ruin other players' games who did nothing wrong. Those people get punished along with the afks for no reason, sure at a smaller extent losing a couple of lp, but its just unfair and unprofessional of the most popular game in the world to just ignore.
You might think that it would/could be abused, you get a friend to go afk so you lose no lp, but frankly it's worth a try. There are some who don't do anything wrong, yet they lose advantages due to the wrong doings of others. That's what I feel like when I get an afk, which happens every couple of games due to disconnects, rage quits, or just people "having to go".
Oh yeah and for that ranked game it said I got 68+ ip but I didn't actually get it. Maybe just a visual gitch.
