[CLIENT] Black screen in champion select forced me to restart client, losing one of my promo games

So I opened up league today, the patch being 7.4 and I am on the new client. I queued up for a solo ranked game. After a wait of around a minute to two minutes the queue pops up and I accept but someone had declined. At this point I go to the loot tab of the client. Then as I am waiting, maybe a couple seconds after the first queue, I get another queue. This time after the queue ends my screen goes black, absolutely nothing I can do. This has happened a couple times before, so I thought it was just loading. Keep in mind, based on previous experiences, I thought someone had declined the queue and it was taking me back to the home screen. I wait for a while (usually it takes less than 10 seconds to load). I realized something was wrong and I couldn't do anything. I'm forced to restart the client causing me to "dodge" in champion select (I didn't know I was in champion select I thought someone declined queue and I was back in home but it wasn't loading). I was in promos (Silver 3 100LP with one win already). I hadn't realized that leaving the queue made me lose a match until I queued up for another match and had a timer, at this point everything clicked and I checked my ranked tab of the profile section to see if I had indeed lost my ranked game... and I did.

Steps to Recreate (I tried to recreate it in a normal draft game so i wouldn't lose another promotion match):

  1. Queue up for a draft type match.

  2. Go into the loot tab

  3. Wait for queue to pop up and accept

From my recreation in a normal draft game I had gotten a black screen, but it wasn't nearly as long as the one I had before and it ended up loading in around 10 seconds.

If possible I would like the extra game in my promotions that I lost because of this bug. I realize it was partly my fault for "dodging" the match but there was nothing I could have done, and because my screen was black I would have ended up dodging once my ban timer completed. I wasn't aware I was in champion select, partly because I play with no sound (so no sound for the champion select stuff) and partly because I was talking to someone in discord and league social area. I will refrain from playing a ranked match until an answer is given in whether I can get a match back in my promotion series. (In the mean time I will play ARURF:D.)

P.S.: I have no pictures or videos of the original event because it didn't occur to me that it would turn out this way. P.P.S: I have noticed that the screen turns black when accepting a queue in most matches, but it was abnormally long in the situation I described in the first paragraph.

Hmm well I still had one remaining game needed to get Silver 2, so i played it because I was impatient and we won.. so I guess the bug is fine. I did however switch back to the old client. As a tester of the new client since the early days... this is the first time I've seen it so buggy. I'm super disappointed in the new client in this current patch and will continue to play on the old client until the bugs are addressed.
