I'm seriously so tired of Irelia

I'm tired of her instantly gapclosing me and then proceeding to slow me as the whole team proceeds to jump me. I'm tired of her being able to build full tank and STILL do a crap ton of damage due to her TRUE DAMAGE I'm tired of her being able to tower dive like nothing. I'm tired of her being literally unstoppable due to her passive. I understand her having a stun against enemies that have more health than her, but a slow? I don't understand.

inb4 you become that one guy that looks up my match history and proceed to post a comment about it, yes, I faced an Irelia for the upteenth time. That's what brought this thread upon, yes, yes.

The slow is there so she can chase a target, because her gap closer doesn't refresh if she doesn't kill the target. Just so you understand.

Riot, almost immediately after releasing Irelia, admitted that they'd overloaded her kit, and we're all basically just waiting until they rework her. Until then, the best way to beat Irelia is to choose a better duelist champion.

I personally like Jax and Nasus against her. I've played Olaf against Irelia and made some real success before, too.

Jax and counter strike her Autos while stunning her, Nasus can wither the attack/movement speed so that he can duel her. Olaf's ult gives him immunity to CC, and his E doing True damage based off his health can really do a dent in Irelia's health

Irelia needs to KILL something in order to dash again, so that isn't really big a problem (Unless you are against some really high elo player)

I agree that Irelia is very strong in the current meta with her kit and all, but she isn't without any counter plays :)

Try the champions above and you can destroy Irelia with ease :)

Haha, ya it might be, but what i find when i try to follow the really high elo guide is taht i cant perform the way they do. Championselect gives you the majority opinion on something rather than a very very very good player's view toward it.

At Challenger, they might look at irelia a whole different way than i do in plat. They are up against better playerr, much much better than myself.

I was just giving some personal experiences here :)

And Championselect if nvr a source for you to pick champions to counter, but something, on the side, to consider about :)

I know she is best toplaner right now, but indeed than nidalee, she can be countered by nasus, darius, sion, tryndamere and raindun omen is good against her.

She has an awful time agaisnt Darius and Olaf, I hate playing agaisnt them.

Nasus can handle himself quite allright as well, then do his Nasus Q stacks magic, also Jax, but that depends if his recent buffs brought him back into the game.
