Losing to Kassadin is soul crushing.

It feels awful to lose to Kassadin. At one point, you are stomping the enemy team when suddenly kassa jumps out from the shadows with 4 stacks ult and you explode. Then he gets more shit and just presses ult and your team literally disappears.

It's just so sad for this game to allow a champion such as him to exist. What can anyone do when he gets 4k mana, presence of mind so that it's endless, and then grabs extremely cheap items because they're ap? He gets the best defensive active in the game, he gets a shield, he gets magic pen, he gets fucking everything he desires.

bUt He NeEdS tO sCaLe Bullshit. As long as you don't have afks or inters you're going to be relevant. AP items' costs insure that. He gets extremely good stats for really low prices so even a single lost fight will turn him to a 1v9 machine, or just afk farming for a couple minutes.

try having a fed top and mid with 0 deaths die to their equally fed adc just because she's Caitlyn wit stormrazor...now that's bullshit

He does need to scale, however I think his kit allows him to do it too well.

He lacks waveclear, yes, but his magic shield and his passive make it very hard for him to actually get pushed out of lane by most champions.

If he just counterpicks a scaling champion himself, or anything that relies on skillshots, he kinda gets a free lane and subsequently a free ticket to at least level 11 and archangels.

Stuff like Vel'Koz, Xerath, Veigar, Vladimir etc can do absolutely nothing besides stand there and watch as Kassadin beats them early, mid, and late, and then proceeds to essentially 1v5 game post-16.

Is it really fair for a Kassadin ult with a 1.2 second cd, which also warps him, and is AoE, to be doing the same if not more than a Veigar ultimate at max damage?
