Let Me Tell You How Wards Win Games....
(Quite long. No flame pls. Just felt like telling a story.
One simple phrase. "Vision Control"
From champ select I knew my team was fucked. I usually run into this problem in my elo. Everyone wants to play Team Deathmatch. However, if my team didn't listen to me and did such, we were definitely going to lose.
Blue Team.
Red Team.

Now being a Mastery 5 Vayne, I'm sorta experienced with her. So I knew right off the back that picking Vayne into Ashe wasn't a smart choice. Thank god for my jungler camping early so the lane wasn't as horrendous as I thought it would be.
Early game passes. Onto MID/LATE game.
Literally, I just kept repeating myself over, and over, and over. "We can't fight them head on, wait for picks. We can't fight, wait for picks" I mean c'mon. Any experienced player can see that their composition is built to run right over us.
Here's how we won. By listening to me and upgrading trinkets, my team dominated, and I mean dominated the map with wards. There wasn't a place they could go without us knowing exactly where they are or generally what area of the map they are.

Match Details ^ Look at wards placed. My teams total: 93. Theirs: 63
My jungler only placed 3. Can you guess which person on my team refused to listen to me for a larger part of the game? That's right. Eve. Even with Baron, we couldn't run down middle. For what? Stand there and get poked by Viktor lazoooorrs with only some minions in sheets from Yorick to poke back with? And yet, my team went charging down mid instead of pushing the side waves to secure more turrets, and give the team more gold, like I suggested. Ergo, they got blown the fuck up.
Did they learn? Eventually. Hence the win.
The main point here is, no matter the composition and how heavy handed the opposing team is, there's always a way to win.
Tips: Secure Objectives. Don't overstay after securing the objective. Why do you want to kill the support so bad after getting dragon? Get it. Fallback. Regroup. Focus on something else. It's solo q. Alot of the time your team won't be on the same page as you, play it safe.
UPGRADE TRINKETS <----------------- This ^^^^^^ is a MUST. 30 minutes in the only person on the enemy team that had an upgraded trinket was Vi....like. It's not the much gold. Wards, win games.

I know it's High Silver/Low Gold, but it's quite a game if you ask me.
