Bring back team builder permanently

The new champ select is nice and all but team builder was just great for scrubs like me who just wanted to jump on and practice a champ in a specific role. Please make team builder permanent.

Plus being guaranteed the champion you wish to play. The new Champ Select is close to what Teambuilder gave us, but there's still bans to deal with.

It's much better about creatin balanced team comps, though. One of Teambuilder's flaws was ending up with a team full of people picking random shit and having no synergy. Plus no more Surprise Yasuos, which is nice.

I second this, I really liked being able to know exactly what I was getting into. I main support, so when I want to play support, I want to ensure that's what I'll get. Also, even though I always put support as my primary it seems I always get sorted into what I put as my secondary...

Gonna be honest same here, I have been trying for 2 days to play Shen, if I put support secondary I end up with that, no surprise, put mid secondary I keep ending up mid. Jungle and adc are my weaker roles and I can't risk putting them as secondary, I could care less if it makes queues take a whole minute longer if it means getting the role I want when I want it, or at least making primary vs secondary not weigh equally in queue.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the new system, I liked teambuilder too, but my two biggest issues are:

Primary and secondary are equally weighted, and the idea of forcing us to pick two roles is an awful idea. Make us able to pick more than one, even up to four roles in the case of a fill who has a bad role or if you just feel like insert 1-4 roles here but let those of us who are perfectly happy to wait a little longer pick the one role we want to. It is as simple as using a boolean function to cover the roles, if we want top send it to the program as 1/0/0/0/0, if we want fill it is 1/1/1/1/1, anything but adc? 1/1/1/0/1, ect... If I get on and feel like playing top, teambuilder guaranteed it, even guaranteed the champ I wanted to play too. But I do like the draft aspect of the new system, but forcing us to pick two roles ruins that for me because it always shunts me off into my secondary pick.
Give us back the ability to edit runes during the queue. In teambuilder I could fix my runes as needed, which given that I could pick my champ beforehand in solo is a bit funny, but in draft, where I might end up in one of two roles, and depending on the team comp might have to pick differently for the champ in said role, having the ability to edit runes seems such a simple thing to do, and coding-wise it literally involves adding a button same as the mastery edit button. To be honest I feel like they have no button to shame/nudge players into buying more rune pages, which unlike skins/champs I refuse to pay money or 6300ip for given that I am not supporting any extra work or commitment from Riot, and just adding a slot to my rune pages.

They claimed that team builder was too slow, and that this would be so much faster. Yeah its pretty much slower then team builder. Wasn't season five all about reaching your endgame fantasy? So season 6 theme is all about shattered disappointment. If i want to play the champ i like guaranteed i now have to go back to bot matches. I remember them saying they didn't want a sand box because it would raise the barrier of entry. Well guess what with no team builder that means you now have to learn at least 8 champs (not a big deal i know but go with it) before you can viable play. So yeah what exactly was wrong with team builder letting people play the game the way they wanted to? If they wanted to wait they waited. Who was it truly hurting? item 3070

The queue times are better, but the Ban Phase really drags the fuck on. Too many people just idling around taking their sweet ass time to pick a ban.

I honestly don't think I can play this game any more if TB isn't brought back. I've played several times and always end up getting my secondary selection (which I randomly select because I can ONLY support). I have played support exclusively since I started playing this game. That means I'm really not all that great at last hitting which means top, mid and bot are out and I have no idea how to jungle. The few times I have managed to get a support role the couple of champs I like playing have been banned or already selected. I really do understand the reasoning behind draft pick, but only as it applies to a more competitive level of play. I can only play lol a few days a week for a few hours at a time at most. I really don't have the time to learn a whole bunch of roles/champs so that I don't end up playing every game like crap. I have literally no motivation to play a game where I end up having a horrible record every single game (even the ones my team wins) because I can't do the one thing I'm actually decent at. Keep draft pick in there. It belongs in the game. But give TB back because the less competitive/more casual crowd needs it.

All of this - we are sharing and having the exact same experience for the same reasons and us, along with a ton of fans are warning Riot - hope they listen because when a company starts catering to the fools in your own organization you wind up seeing subs and money go elsewhere.

I prefer to know that I was guaranteed a champ and a lane. At the moment the champ I want to play the most is Brand mid, who seems to be banned 50% of the time, not to mention when he not banned I am forced to play my secondary lane choice.

I liked being able to basically play blind pick with no bans or counterpicks and still be able to play the role I wanted with the champion I wanted to play. I LIKE playing my main champ, I like playing my main role. I end up playing every damn game as adc or supp anyway, but at least with team builder if I wanted to wait to cue for mid/top I could go ahead and wait and make sure I wouldn't be stuck playing a role I don't like. This new thing replacing teambuilder and draft mode means that now if you don't want to deal with blind pick you basically have to play with the ranked system.

Also like other have said, sometimes those of us who haven't learned every champ in game or every role want to be able to practice without incurring the wrath of SuperSerious(tm) Draft Mode Normal players

TB was the only thing keeping me playing this game. I have a lot of friends that play this game and it brings me to psychological pain to try and even boot up this game up to play with them.

I would have rather waited thirty minutes to play a twenty minute surrender game. Than to play a role, champ, or position I don't want at any given time. Even if it meant winning every game I played with the new draft.

And now I've become the dodge troll everyone hates. TB has made me a spoil little bitch, I'll admit that. But staring at a 20 minute queue dodge timer is a better alternative than playing a single game with a champ or position I hate.

They say that a community should vote with they're wallets. So I will I refuse to buy (with money) any champion, rune page, skin, anything; until TB is brought back.

All I've learned from the new champ select is that Secondary = Primary. If it weren't for people dodging so often I wouldn't have played my Primary more than once so far.

I downloaded and started playing smite because teambuilder is gone and I will never ever spend any more money on Riot. I bought a few games on steam recently like the don't starve pack and I bought a whole bunch of packs of hearthstone cards too. But Riot will never ever get any more from my credit card because they removed teambuilder. I promise.

They really need a mode for the casual solo players who wanna play PVP but not ARAM because they wanna either practice a specific champion in the role they want. Or just play casually !

Team builder is so much more better than blind pick due to the fact that you don't have to argue with someone who wanted the same role as you wanted. Also, there were more nicer people on team builder compared to draft/blind pick.

They could just make it so you can queue with only one role chosen.

Most players wouldn't mind a longer queue time if it meant they were guaranteed the role they wanted.

I'm tired of all the dodges I am sure are related to people not getting what they wanted. Besides that, I enjoyed being able to go into team builder when I wanted to do something specific. Bots don't cut it, and when I want to play a new champ I got I want to be sure I can try him out. TEam builder was perfect for that. BRing it back Riot. I love Dynamic, but it did not need to absorb team builder. They both serve a purpose.

i am a casual player that likes the idea of playing the player i want in the lane that want, i am not about competition and stats its a pastime for me and i am left now to play bot games because i enjoy playing supp i enjoy playing blitzcrank and now the players that want to excel at this game wont be able to face me and up their game because i have to play bots. i think the choice should be left to the community to play what they want when they want and there are many members in the community that have the same opinion. #bringteambuilderback....

I want to play my champ and my position and that could be easily done with the old team builder. Now you wait, and wait and wait... then you still don't even get to play what you want to play. Then you dodge people you are upset and make 9 other people upset and go eat a sandwich for 5 minutes and wait out your temp ban and repeat.

Riot please bring back team builder. It was great for my time schedule. When I only have time for one game I can grab jungle or support and go. Now with the horrible pick and ban times of draft, with it resetting when someone doesn't; I'm basically forced back into blind pick unless I have a good two hours free to deal with queues before even getting to a full match. Then half the time I don't get the champ I was intending to play. Team builder definitely upped the fun factor of this game.

I don't want to play ranked. I enjoy playing what I want, where I want, with the makeup of champs that I want. I hate blind pick because of all the bickering and trolling. I don't want to play draft. I want team builder back, it was the best thing to happen to this game for casual players like me.

i don't like the new champ select. part of the fun of the old champ select was not knowing what you would get. now i always know what i'll get. whatever i put besides mid. at least with team builder you could sacrifice long wait for actually getting your role. the new team builder takes away the: i need to be competitive in many roles without letting you guarantee you will get the role you want.

hell am i the only one here who just wants it back for casual. WHO CARES IF ITS FOR DRAFT OR RANKED! look riot your player base is more casual players than pros and competitive players. i play maybe a game a day or up to 3 games a day. im a casual scrub i admit it. but i want every game i que into to be fun. but when you click blind normal with or without a party you get 3 people wanting the same lane. if your the last one in you get what your told to play not what you want to play. if you want to play something new people criticize you before you even start the game. i just want to pick a champion pick a lane and play if people don't want to play with me i will wait and they can just say no to me. i loved jumping into team builder picking shen support and hopping into a game faster than a dominion match. and i waited for dominion too.(in my opinion it was never slow riot is just a bunch of perfectionists. IT MUST BE FAST OR REMOVED) just give casual back team builder so i can stop being forced to play jungle when i want to play mid or top. and so everyone knows what lane they are going to play.
