Champion Diversity, haha.

Probably a misleading title, but I miss not being able to expect what to be against in my lane/jungle. Lately in Season four and five, I find I usually end up taking Exhaust or Barrier simply because I know there's a 1/3 chance I'm going against a Zed, or when I'm in the jungle I'm expecting a Lee Sin or Sejuani, because they're played so often I literally know what to do. Doesn't mean I enjoy it. Honestly, the last time I've gone against an unexpected pick in the midlane was probably a few weeks ago when I was up against Karthus. I mean, I destroyed him, but still, it wasn't a repetitive dodge the skillshot from Zed every six seconds, or walk away from minions because Bouncing Dagger or watch Leblanc when she walks towards me cause of her annoyingaf Q range.

I'm not saying these champions are OP, however, I am saying that it's depressing that a lane gets so repetitive that I no longer want to play in that lane. It frustrates me that I can expect what the matchup will be in the lanes. I mean, I can name probably a dozen champions that hold 35% of the entire League of legends play rate. (Zed, Lee Sin, Thresh, Vayne, Jinx, Graves, Katarina, Yasuo, Leona, Lucian, Morgana, and uh, uh, yeah, I'd say Cho'gath.) Being completely honest, how often do you see Kayle, Syndra, Elise, Aatrox, Trundle, and Anivia? They aren't under powered, they just don't have the ease of access that the other champions do. They all have big hindrances that people don't like to play with, whereas the most popular are perhaps not the easiest champions in the League, however, there's no where near as much problems playing a Zed, is there? I don't have to manage my Energy well because unless I'm going in, my regen is fast enough that I don't have to worry.

Basically I'm saying I want to see more diversity, but it most likely won't happen because of the gap between. QQ
