since it provides health and it's 5% armour armour reduction is AOE applied with his spin and actually can apply 25% to an entire team within moments. I'd say that's a lot more useful than a lucky crit with low damage

redniwediS1 votesAs much as I love playing Garen as a tank, fighter Garen is a legitimate thing. Perhaps the crits could be removed for something that better helps his two main builds, but you cannot balance him around one or the other only.
