What if Veigar was made into a siege mage?
I got this idea from a thread a while ago where someone was suggesting changing
s ult to be more like
s ult after they realized how good it was for sieges, but
is in a decent spot already right now and there is another champion that has a skill that could benefit more from this sort of change, Leagues own space mage
he already has the makings of a great siege kit, event horizon could be great for preventing flanks, baleful strike and dark matter could both be used to harass enemies off of objectives.
Imagine this as his kit
Passive: Veigar's mana regeneration is increased by 1.5% for each 1% of his missing mana.(unchanged)
Q: Baleful strike:Passive: Veigar gains permanent bonus ability power when he kills a champion from any source of damage. This stacks with the active ability's AP gain. Active: Unleashes a ball of dark energy in a line, dealing magic damage to up to two enemy units. Every time this ability kills a unit, Veigar gains 1 ability power permanently (doubled against large minions, large monsters, and champions). Applies a mark to enemies hit, dark matter and auto attacks will consume the mark, dealing additional damage and slowing the target.
W:Dark Matter: Active: Veigar calls a great mass of dark matter to fall from the sky to the target location, which lands after a 0.5 second delay, dealing magic damage in a 112.5-radius area. Reveals enemies hit for 2 seconds. Range up from 900 to 1500. Shorter cool down.
E: Event Horizon: Passive: Striking enemy champions with Dark matter extends the duration of Event Horizon by 1 second(the box, not the stun) Active: After a 0.75 second delay, Veigar twists the edges of space around the 375-radius target area for 3 seconds, Stun icon stunning enemies who pass through the perimeter for a short duration. Enemy dashes through the walls are also stopped.
R: Primordial burst: Changed to a longer ranged AOE skill shot similar to Ziggs ult but smaller, also scales with a % of the targets bonus AD, either that or left as is, but I kind of like the idea of
just dropping a comet on the enemy back line.
Another unrelated point, Why doesn't
have an Astro
skin? it would make so much sense.
As always, if you're going to up or down vote, post the reasoning in the comments, do it for the puppies
