Unusual supports
So I've been planning on playing Poppy support for fun and got me wondering about other champs that can support but aren't meant to. I'm gonna exclude blitz crank because he is basically a support.

get a targon's brace early, Q minions for the charge procs and get gold off that. Also those Q crits HURT on squishy targets early game.
long range stun. good slow, good poke, and ridiculous burst damage.
A personal favorite oddball support of mine. AoE slow / zoning tool on his Q, his E has a good stun on it for going all in. And his R is one of the best abilities in the game for setting up jungle ganks if aimed well.
Decent poke, amazing all in potential. Good with an AD carry who can bully their lane like Graves.
insane damage, decent stun for early game aggression. If you pick him as support, Make sure your AD carry can get super aggressive early on.
I've been supporting with Wukong quite a bit. His decoy makes trading on bot lane pretty easy. E, Q and decoy away. He is pretty mana hungry though. After 6 you can usually all in easy peasy. People will report you if you do badly though :P
was actually designed to be a support. I'm not saying that's the best place for him, but he definitely works as one.
