So over the course of yesterday and this morning I played about 12 games, there was a distinct pattern to these games also, since I always won, then lost, then won, etc. Started with 65 LP and after finally losing 1 additional game I got demoted.

..the gains do not make sense, or the losses don't. I don't wanna hear this "team mmr" stuff either, because it's ALWAYS 22 points lost, and 16 gained. So if team mmr is a factor, then they need to change the way that works too so I'm not stuck in this vicious cycle of "well hope you can win 10 in a row, cause if you don't you'll never move". In a game like this where individual skill is just a drop on the canvas of how a game turns out I just don't think the lp system fits.

Looking at your match history, the games you lost, the opposing team had bronze players. In that case, you are SUPPOSED to win, so you gain less when win and lost more when lost,

Be that as it may, it's literally all of my games, regardless of opponents.

Your MMR is lower than it should be for what tier you're in. So you lose more than you gain until you're in the right tier for your MMR. Just think of it like your MMR is really the only thing that matters and they tricked you into thinking you were in a higher tier than you really were for a while.

I climbed to my current tier from Bronze 5.. so my mmr can't just randomly be wrong (can it?). I have read that duo q's mess with all the mmr checker on op.gg and I've duoed damn near every game, so that may be why it would appear lower.
