Tryndamere is severely overwhelming and toxic.

Tryndamere is a top lane uber bully that shits on any person laning against him. Okay, like Renekton, he's stupid early, but then falls off as the game progresses, right? No. The ENTIRE game, he's a complete bitch. He instakills carries, cc doesnt matter because he has stupid chasing potential. Having a free 30% crit chance makes him have to require less crit items, so he can get 400+ damage and still crit every attack. His heal is alright, but not super toxic. His w is the most obnoxious slow ever. I just experienced it last game, it's almost worse than nasus. It's incredibly powerful and happens immediatly, and dueling him is literally impossible because of the damage reduction on his W. His ult is the most gruesome, toxic, bullshit, anti-fun, and RETARDED ultimate in the ENTIRE GAME. Using his ult, he rushes in, 2-shots the carry, spins out, and lives. You somehow magically killed him? The moment he respawns, he has his ult again. Bullshit ult that is on a super low cooldown is enough to make any champion instantly bullshit. His kit is toxic, anti-fun and has EXCESSIVE amounts of bullshit thrown in for good measure. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT TRYNDAMERE.

Man I feel like I timewarped back to 2011.

I agree he needs a rework, and he's boring. He's also too common right now simply because he overwhelms a lot of people in solo.

He's a feast or famine champ though. That is his downside. If he gets outplayed, then he loses lane really badly and becomes dead weight for his team. However the reverse is true also, if he outplays you, you'll feel like rage quitting and your teammates are going to be upset with you because he'll roam and kill them. Don't let yourself get distracted by his ridiculous kit. Pre 6 is when you're going to want to get that kill on him to shut him down, so if you aren't confident you can get it yourself, ask for a gank. Always watch his fury bar, and only pick on him when it's low. Luckily he'll usually have to push the lane to keep it going.

Tryndamere is actually pretty weak against Renekton, so if you're a counterpicker that's not a bad choice. item 3047 item 3075 is required against him for most. I also like to grab item 3139 for the debuff. summoner 14 is a great spell to have for his ultimate as well.

Nasus counters him at every stage of the game. Learn Nasus acquire freelo.

The problem with Tryndamere is that he is either extremely overwhelming or extremely underwhelming.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but he seems to be a problem that a lot of people at low ELO complain about. During the laning phase, he can bully some match ups, but he has some real weaknesses against champions like Nasus, Darius, Renekton, Malphite etc. Also he isn't that good in teamfights, even though you might think he can chase b/c he has 5 seconds of invincibility. But in higher divisions where there is the concept of peel, he gets peeled off really easily and CC'd hard. His only strength lies in his split push and 1v1 prowess. In the last 100 or so games, I've maybe seen him once or twice.

I'm plat 2. I still find tryndamere to be one of the most broken and frustrating champions to play against. His whole laning phase revolves around rngesus crits. If that isnt toxic I dont know what is. You might be able to peel him off your carries, but that requires an absurd amount of cc, of which you also need to use against the rest of his team. The worst thing is that HE CAN ULT DURING CC. If he couldn't, then I could consider tryndamere a mediocore champion. But seriously, he's one of those champions that either do outrageous damage with unlimited survivability, or does completely nothing. He's an AD hypercarry that basically gets free crit, free escape, free slow, and free invincibility. If that was on any other champion, riot would nerf the shit out of it.

only tryndamere i've played against in weeks: he ragequit at level 2 because he dove me under the tower and died XD

tryndamere is a very dangerous champ, sure, but he's easy to predict and easier to kite

if he builds tanky, he has no damage potential

if he builds glass cannon, AP or AD carries can poke him down and force his ult, a death, or a retreat

lol, I may build him tanky to see how it goes XD

You just got put in a bad spot as Renekton against Tryndamere. Contrary to popular belief, his real strength isn't in his passive, it is in his W. One or two critical hits shouldn't hurt that much, but Trynd can win trades so easily because of his W ad reduction against melee champions. It takes off 80 AD at rank 5, that is literally 1/3 to 1/2 AD of most bruiser top laners.

However, Tryndamere is actually terrible in team fights. His kit demands him to build damage, yet it leaves him extremely easy to kill. Just simply chain CC him or kite him while his ultimate is up. It shouldn't be hard to do for most supports or ADCs.

He is only difficult to handle in a 1 v 1 scenario where there is no one else to back up with CCs or damage.

only when they have their backs turned to him, no?

you win by rushing a thornmail and zoning him. you can literally laugh in his face as he deals more damage to himself than you. thornmail rush has always beaten tryn for me.

Toxic, sure.

Overwhelming, no.

top lane uber bully

Oh no, not by a long shot. Pretty much any early bruiser will wreck him early game. Tryn is built around the mid and late game though, his whole game relies around getting three items. item 3153 item 3031 item 3087

Once he's got those, he's going to start going ham and you're going to have to either have a powerhouse duelist to deal with him. Jax Irelia Warwick This is for whenever he is trying to split push.

Or if he's trying to jump on your team and kill everyone, have your CC, exhaust and ignite ready. When he jumps in, either CC him or exhaust him, then ignite him and disengage. He'll either make a run for it or die, possibly both.

Build a ninja tabi, thats 10% dmg reduction against him cuz he can't do anything but autoattack, his shout's slow can be negated if you turn, lots of people can do it, so theres no reason you should be an exception. As for his ultimate, just have your support throw some cc on him, he's not equipped to deal with kiting, his spinning slash moves slower than many other dashes, and until he gets into melee with you, he can't do any damage. Kite and poke literally wreck him, just like they do nasus, but people are too dumb to get around the fact that their go-to playstyle doesn't account for every single champion.

chogath counters trynda hard. nasus is also decent vs him. as for his slow try to turn towards him when he uses it then run away again. then it wont effect you. his ultimate... yea its pretty dumb 9/10 times any champ without movement speed or alot of tankyness wil die. he has counters he has strenghts is he toxic? yea maybe a bit. but he isn't the worst
