So if you do 8-2 you are an iron material? lower than bronze? so i need to go through bronze and silver and to get the gold 3 that you were getting when you were doing 8-2? oh and all the grind cause you take even with a 80% win ratio you get 22 lp and you lose 22 lp hahahaha with the old system 8-2 was meaning gold 3 and +35 and skipping divisions...

Wtf is riot trying to do here? i dont get it...why they destroy the game so much it make no sense hahaha

(Btw i talk about a fresh account all the examples old and new ones are for fresh accounts)

At least the icon of iron 1 is better looking than the gold 1 hahahaha

Not sure why they decided to change their system, its a lot harsher on people that can't play a lot of ranked

I haven't done my placements yet this preseason. Two seasons ago, however, I went 0-10 and still placed into Silver IV. I don't understand their algorithms at all.

They've made it quite a bit harsher for new accounts that were not ranked previously. Honestly this is a good thing.

Fresh account's initial rank is capped at iron 1 but their MMR is not capped.

An acceptable price to pay if it means I no longer get garbage noob feeders on my teams in Silver. I know Silver is not the cream of the crop here but whoever thought putting new accounts close to Gold is a good idea should have their head examined. New accounts should always start at the bottom of the ladder, no exceptions. If you're better that Iron, you'll climb out. I don't need you feeding your ass off in my Silver games because you don't have the basic understanding that you shouldn't be fighting someone 2 levels above you, a thing even the worst Silver players would understand.

It's actually kind of intentional, new accounts for I believe is just the duration of preseason will pretty much all be placed in low elo, iron or bronze no matter how many you win. Your mmr will still be high though if you do good, which is why you see iron players in gold/plat games. I can't confirm but I'm pretty sure you can contact player support if you are playing against gold/plat players, and then they will manually move you up there. This is just a rumor though, so I can't confirm, but worth a shot.
