Any chance of a new high AP item to replace Rylai's???

So it looks like Riot is planning to reduce the AP on Rylai's from 100 to 75. They are also nerfing the Health and the slow, but it's the AP I'm worried about.

There just aren't many options if what you need is raw AP.

• Needlessly Large Rod got it's AP reduced from 80 to 60; the balance between AD items built from BF Sword and AP items built from NLR is questionable since AP has always been needed in great quantities (almost twice the amount) since it affects only abilities while AD also scales basic attacks.
• Hourglass got it's AP reduced from 100 to 70.
• Luden's Echo got it's AP reduced from 120 to 100.
• Archangel's Staff offers good AP but only for champions that can effectively stack it quickly.
• Rod of Ages offers good AP but due to the time needed to stack up it can be a bad item choice unless you can rush it.

At this rate, Deathcap will be mandatory on all AP champions once again because it's the only 120 AP item left in the game and the only 100 AP item left will be Luden's so the passive bonus AP from Deathcap could become necessary to fill the itemization gap. The artificial scalings of Luden's and Lich Bane help as a sort of crutch but are not up on demand and do nothing for abilities that need AP for things besides damage. Remember when Riot thought reducing Support utility and giving them AP utility scalings sounded like a good idea?

and are already struggling for the most part and they can't be expected to buy Rod of Ages or Archangel's Staff since they don't have mana. They need raw AP to get their burst and do their job. They only have 2 options for reducing MR - Abyssal Scepter just got changed to no longer reduce MR and Haunting Guise only builds into Liandry's which is laughably inefficient on them. This means they are all but forced to pick Sorcerer's Shoes as their boot option (along with 90% of Mages) and work Void Staff into their build (...along with 90% of Mages).

Can we PLEASE get some new options for the ~100 AP item space? Even one item that can compete with Luden's or Deathcap so AP builds don't become disgustingly stagnant and mandate that Riot buffs AP ratios on all of these champs just to function would be nice.
