So I was playing heimer in ARAM and I noticed that heimer turrets dont use the liandrys burn passive but still does use rylais passive. I dont know if this is intentional or not but if it makes 0 sense to me. Both passives proc off of damaging spells and abilities therefore if one does work on heimer q why not the other?
Because heimer's turrets are classed as non controllable pets/minions. Their attacks do not proc spell effects (Liandry's burn) but will apply Rylai's because it's a pet attack.
The beam will proc Liandry's because it's classed as a spell and applies spell effects.
