Is anyone surprised the Yasuo nerf accomplished next to nothing?
He is still obnoxiously broken while being easy to play.

I despise yasuo, and get shit by him every time. But that's due to my own deficiencies. This post is awful. If he's so easy, why but play him and take him to challenger?
You could because he has almost no weakness in a solo queue game.
yasuo
no weaknesses
lol
Tank build wasn't killed you idiot. You can buy PD, IE and 3 tank items and what has changed? Nothing. -His cc isnt extremely unreliable when you have a .01 second cd dash to get up to someone. -One of the strongest level 1/2 champions so much for shitty base stats -Of course one of the best basic abilities in the game has a 26 second cooldown. Forced to push lanes to harass? Wow its almost like anyone harassing does that
That moment when buying 3 "defensive" items makes you a tank.
It's 3 more than most assassins can get without losing a ton of damage, to be fair.
Thank god yasuo isn't an assassin.
The problem is he SHOULD be... instead he plays and builds more like a bruiser or fighter.
Except he shouldn't. He is designed as a melee adc, not as an assassin.
Enough said? That post kinda proved my point. For an assassin you had very low kill participation compared to nearly EVERYONE else on your team. Your MF and trundle carried that match with help from the rest of you. You seem to have fared the worst off of your team, judging by that low kill participation and a pretty lackluster amount of gold.
So if your point was that you agree with me... um.... thanks. But I think your example just proves that assassins don't assassinate very well when they build that tanky over building damage. The problem is in people like Yasuo, Fizz, Ekko and the like who CAN build tanky and still output very scary levels of damage and who ALSO have powerful, mobile and/or utility-heavy kits.
Why don't you do it then? Why intentionally stay in low elo if it's so easy?
I'm not low elo and I also get bored of league after one or two games.
You're unranked. That's below bronze..
If you would actually explain what is it you consider obnoxious this post might have some merit. Stating "easy to play" makes any further discussion instantly pointless and laughable though.
If you can't see what is wrong with Yasuo you are either a Yasuo main in denial or don't play league.
He rushes phantom dancer.. The nerfs literally did... nothing... since hes going to have 60% crit rate anyway..
The nerf wasn't supposed to target regular Yasuo, as he's still squishy and easily bursted. The nerfs were to get rid of tank Yasuo

Its still here.
Only one of those things is an actual tank item. Try again

I literally replaced sunfire with randuins, and steerraks with maw ( maw gives 40 more MR and a shield while steraks gives health and a shield )
And for some reason youre arguing that only one of those things is an actual tank item.
Thats pretty pitiful avantel it just shows you love arguing
You subbed in phantom dancer and maw, two items that a regular Yasuo would build. Having items that give a bit of defensive, but still primarily damaging, is not a tank build.
Is that build a bit closer to a bruiser? Yes.
Is that a tank build? No.
Nice Ad Hominem.

Pretty sure
ninja tabi + ga + randuins + maw + FM makes you tanky
It may make you durable, but a tank it does not make.
Also, and try to understand this, their is a difference between items with defensive stats, and tank items.
Anyone can build a GA. Hell, before this season it was pretty much required on most squishies late game.
Boots are boots. If I'm against an AD mid laner that autos a lot and I'm Yasuo, I would consider getting Tabi.
Maw is an offensive item. Simple as that.
Mallet is a bruiser item, something I acknowledged calling the build closer to a bruiser.
Leaving Randuin's, the only actual tank item in that entire build.
And as PB Garen said, that build is not as durable as the one he listed. Whether or not it does more damage is entirely up to the team playing against him. Yours offers more up front damage in exchange for being not as durable. The other is more durable, but requires longer fights, as you rely on spellblade procs and FoB to get your damage.

The difference between my build and yours is
750 more health sterak passive shield 15 less MR
Mine has
Phantom passive 15 more MR Maw passive shield 40 more armor
Whether you like it or not, you cant really argue and say that ''thats not a tanky/bruiser build'' compared to the traditional yasuo build
because thats what ive been seeing recently.
Phantom into frozen mallet

is the actual build.
That build does less damage than the tank build did and isn't as tanky.

Yeah it does do more damage. Bonus armor pen applies on crits.
Triforce doesnt give crit, phantom does.

You might want to learn how to read.
I said "DID", which means it does less damage than the tank build DID, as in, before it was nerfed into unviability.
Do you understand?

No i dont understand, why you get so defensive on simple discussions.

Why correct grammar if you aren't going to fully write in complete sentences.

Why insult someone else's intelligence when your grammar, word usage (your deleted post should have used "why" instead of "when"), and reading comprehension are poor?

I just really like how you talk about someones grammar while not using complete sentences.
I'm sure you're a wonderful and beautiful creature m8.

This post is a laugh
Was it even a Nerf, or just a bug fix? The armor pen only on crit is dumb because most players build at least one crit item anyway.
It was a slap on the wrist because there is a lot of Yasuo mains and he sells skins like hotcakes. Lets not forget the winrate analyst for Riot is a Yasuo main. The bug fix was for his extra aa on his ult as if that is why he was broken lmao.
He is still obnoxiously broken while being easy to play.
any proof?
His winrate went down like 4%
That happens every time a champion is nerfed regardless of actual power or even if the nerfs actually happened. It's because people hear about the nerfs and psychology does the rest.
There was a riot post somewhere about a time when a Vlad nerf got posted on the patch notes but didn't actually happen in the game due to an error. His winrate sunk and people who had been complaining that he "felt OP" wrote on the forums talking about how glad they were for the nerf and about how much easier he was to handle now. I'll repeat.... he was not actually changed in the least. But people believed he had been.
As another goofy statistics example... I remember a time when Riot put out a stat sheet showing the success rate of various adc/support combos in bot lane to explain something about champion synergy. The "strong meta" champs of that time were pretty dominant, especially when paired together, of course... but off on the side of the graph was the mighty Urgot/Karma bot lane which boasted a winrate on part with the powerhouse meta champ comps. Surely Urgot is broken as hell, right? Shield spam FTW? No, it's that there were all of 40 or so ranked games even played with that comp during the stat-gathering timeframe... compared to the hundreds of thousands of matches played with the normal comps. It was possible that every single one of those Urgot/Karma matches in that period was the exact same two guys. Imagine if they'd nerfed Urgot or Karma over that. Imagine if people had seen that winrate and imagined those champs were strong and started picking them in solo ranked? It would end in DISASTER.
You can't rely on winrates for this exact reason. A consistantly high winrate show that there MIGHT be a problem, at most. Statistics are often misleading and correlations are tricky to understand even when you know about the things the stats are tracking. Yas losing winrate after a nerf is to be expected... it doesn't prove anything unless his low winrate sticks around, and possibly not even then.
