The game literally is "hey do how much of the top picks do you have on your team" you cant outplay them you cant lane against them you cant pick a champ you think is fun because you get outclassed in every aspect you cant have fun
So lets implement a 20 ban system! 2 bans per person, helps get rid of the annoying champion tier list that's currently in play so we can actually pick a fun champ and you know, have fun.
Then the new players and the smurfs or those that want to level a small account will need to own 30 champions in order to play. That means alot grinding. And many wont like it because they will say I need to grind in order to play ranked so i MAY possibly get some rewards. That may lead to an alarming increace of boting programms( using bot to farm games and EXP) and that will make all kind of normal games frustrating if you get 1 or 2 bots and they enemy none or 1. Also all the players will need to learn and master more champions since now with 20 bans they will higer chace for your 3 or 4 mains you have be banned and forced to dodge or play something you arent good. That may lead to more frustration and if that causes to lose lane hard and then the whole game and lose 20 LP ...oh boy we will have the whole board spamming posts and posts how unfair, they always ban my champ, i just to have fun etc. While as an idea can give some diversity and lead to some new strategies, it will bring a possible massive players exodus leaving forever the game and find something else to play. I may be wrong but thats my 2 cents for your suggestion.
Who all do you have to ban? I've reached the point where I ban Lucian out of habit, but that's mostly because he's a pain to hit, not cause I lose every time I face him.
Except this would completely ruin the game in the long-run because it'd require players to learn even more champions if they hope to compete on a competitive level. Players were already expected to learn two champions per role before the 10-ban system was implimented, more afterwards. Now they'll have to learn even more.
Honestly, I wouldnt mind it. That said, I play cassiopeia ONLY, and she has a 1.2% ban rate. If i was playing yasuo leblanc akali aatrox irelia sion.... well I wouldnt cuz the champs would basically never resurface lmao.
and I can say without a doubt that you are missing fundamental skills if you are below... maybe silver 2. if ur below silver 2 i would try to refocus on my own play and not worry so much about other champs
If you guys r curious I ban leblanc and sion. those r the strongest champs in the game that counter a good mid laner
20 champions removed from the list is about 15% of the total champions.
Draft games unlock at level 30 and I doubt that most people even know how to play 5 champions WELL.
So no, not a good idea.
I remember these types of posts when we banned 6 champs. Everyone screaming for 10. BAM Riot gives us 10. NICE!
Now we need 20? After that 30!
How about we just get to pick who we play against instead? Eliminate bans all together.
