Grasp of the Shielded? A proposal for a better keystone

I was reading the Grasp of the undying changes today and I had a thought. What if instead of replenishing health you get a shield every 10-20 seconds or something while in combat based on 3% of your max health (similar to Vi passive where she gets a shield when using an ability) which would accomplish damage mitigation without providing tanks with infinite sustain that they shouldn't have in their kit. It would also introduce a means of counter play, the shield lasts a second or two so it could be played around and provide offensive bonus to aggressive top champs without providing them sustain to players who can outplay the shield duration.

This would establish Grasp as a more aggressive choice for smart play and Strength of the ages for a measure of defensive stats and sustain once the health proc is maxed in lane without being too oppressive.

Thoughts anyone? :)

The problem wasn't actually the healing. The problem was the damage. Riot is ok with tanks being tanky, but being able to do 3% of their health in damage every 4 seconds was the problem. Though the change they made probly isn't going to solve that problem as much as make it less painful.

In my opinion, the most intelligent solution is to simply increase the cooldown. Look at every other keystone that has a cooldown. All of them are in the double digits. A keystone powerful enough to require a cooldown and then given a 4 second raised my eyebrow the moment I saw it.
