What do ADC's in general suck at this point? I feel like they have no weaknesses except the player themselves. I want your opinions ladies & gentlemen.

If everyone was perfect, would anyone ever die? Would a game ever end? People are always the source of their strength and weaknesses. Who you play, how you play, who you play with, how they play, how you play with each other, who you play against, how they play. Everything is a factor, and it boils down to each individual person. Every character has a weakness, and it depends on how well they you are able to prevent that weakness, or how well your opponent is able to exploit that weakness. Every character also has different strengths, and it's up to you to play on those strengths.

I play ADC, and surviving in lane phase is not the part I worry about. It is team fights when the talon or zed walks right past my team and ults me. I can kite and qss or have a GA, but when it happens over and over...there is a support in bot lane for a reason. Now I play with a 5 man, and that stuff rarely happens. I have someone stay by me if the other team has dive champs like that to peel for me. League is a team game so to point out one group casue they"die" to much. Maybe look at your own play and see what you can do to help them rather then point fingers. Just a thought

I'll take you up on the offer, but it'll have to be later tonight after I'm off work and finished some errands. I can already tell you how this works though. We'll trade even-ish in lane until I hit 6 which is when you are 100% dead anytime my ult is off CD

Okay. I'll just pick Ahri. Let's see...hard CC, check. Better poke, check. Mobility, burst, and actually outranging you? Check. Yep. Looks like you're fucked.

Besides, you're looking at a closed environment, there. Not an open one, which is more realistic. And you're looking at one particular ADC who's known for doing a fuckton of damage. That's like looking at Talon and saying all assassins are broken, because that one particular assassin is well-known for level 2 cheeses.

To be fair most assassins are broken, but it has nothing to do with them particularly being broken individually and everything to do with the way this game has been setup. Think about it, they made an entire class of champions dedicated to 1 shotting, in a game made for team play, how would that not be broken? The truly sad part is that if they thought it through they would have realized their massive mistake in this. But they didn't, and just kept making more. So now we have champions like zed who get 1 or 2 really heavy crit/lethality items and start to kill everyone.

He's a prime example of the kind of broken that they are, anyone who needs 2 items to start completely demolishing whole teams is broken, but the only people that fit that category are AD's that have a heavy crit/lethality build which just happen to be most ADCs and assassins.

It's like let's say you put a deathcap and void staff on morgana, will she be powerful? Sure, but she won't destroy your entire team. On the other hand if you put yunmoos and IE on draven he will literally walk through everyone on your team and laugh while doing it. That is the definition of unbalanced and broken.

we can even take this further though, lets give you one of the hardest hitting AP's right now, veig, if you give him deathcap and void staff he will more than likely 1 shot you, so retrospectively it seems like more of a match to draven right? Except here's the thing, after he manages to 1 shot someone he's very open and vunerable, because he's an AP, so he has massive power but it's offset by cooldowns, as where draven can trade endlessly even if everything is on CD for him because ADC. See the problem? It's not that he has any super OP abilities, it's the design behind them.

Draven is strong. he does a fuckton of damage. Okay. These are all facts that are commonly accepted.

He's still less than 5% of all ADCs, though. Malzahar is strong, does that mean every mage is broken? Nasus is strong, does that mean Darius needs nerfs?

No, none of those things logically follow. Draven being strong=! every ADC being strong. Neither does MF or Ezreal being strong, given that Ezreal is more an AD caster than an ADC, and MF is just a blink away from being an assassin.

The reason ADCs are broken isn't because "draven is strong". It's because unlike mages he doesn't have to go back when some mana is down, he can keep trading down once he gets a few items especially if one of those items is a lifesteal item like bloodthirster. Because in the midst of fighting no matter which adc you are you can keep AAing, as where mages have to wait out their CD's otherwise their damage is garbage.

They really don't, the main problem with ADCs used to be they were squishy, but sadly the way they're done up right now because of lifesteal and crit they get all their life back upon hitting so honestly they don't really have much in the way of weaknesses.

As a class, ADCs really don't have a weakness anymore.

Lifesteal and DR out the ass makes them no longer squishy.
Absurd amounts of armor pen makes armor irrelevant.
Long range makes them immune to most tanks / assassins getting to them (in a teamfight).
Crit makes them burst harder than assassins and mages.
So many MR items, burst mages can't do their job anymore (outside of a few).
Immunity to nerfs because they make money
...

They're just the best champs, hands down. You just hope yours is better, or you lose.

Squishy is independent of lifesteal. You can have 8000% lifesteal and a trillion AD, but ADCs are still fucked if they get stunned, because they're not durable.

BC is 24% reduction. Lord Dominik's is 35% piercing. Combined, those reduce effective armor to 48.1%. That leaves you with almost half of your 300+ armor.

Long range makes them immune to most tanks / assassins getting to them (in a teamfight).

Assassins have blinks and dashes out of their ass. If a Zed/Talon/Katarina/Kayn can't get to the ADC, and said ADC isn't being peeled by everyone on the team, the assassin is blatantly incompetent. Now, surviving once they get there is a different story. But getting there is easy as hell.

Objectively false, unless, by "mages", you mean Soraka and Janna. Do they have roughly the same DPS, when about equal on items? About there , yes (still in favor of most mages by about 200 damage, and assassins by about 300). But ADCs are still a DPS class, whereas most mages and assassins are burst. Meaning, while ADCs take 5 seconds to do their damage, Talon did it in 1.21 (or less) seconds.

Ah, yes. The whole host of MR items available to a marksman. We have... item 3156 , a sorta shitty upgrade to item 3155 , and we have item 3139 , which...isn't a terrible item, I suppose, but you don't buy it for the MR, you buy it for the active.

Oh, and you only get one or the other. You don't have the slots or the gold for both.

Immunity to nerfs because they make money

Every champion makes Riot money. Every. Single. One. Yes, even Skarner. People do buy skins for him. ADCs aren't even the flashiest of champions, nor do they have the flashiest of skins.
