How do you actually counter Master Yi outside of CC?

You don't really, Yi excels against non cc heavy teams.

Pretty easy. are pretty solid ways to counter him. Or wall jumping skills.

You just need him to not kill anyone for 8 seconds and then he's off his ult and you kill him. Move faster than him.

Hold your own in lane and help your jg counter jg on Yi. He really isn’t that bad if he isn’t fed, or allowed to get massive cs.

I all else fails hope your jg or support picks this guy.

you don't, he outscales almost all fighters and all tanks hes a melee adc

Almost like Jhin is ass against Yi

well, i can think of probably 10 champs on top of my head who can do the same. especially to jhin since jhin is extremely weak in all in 1v1 scenarios and pretty weak in general. if you couldn´t kill a lonely immobile adc with next to no cc as a yi why would you ever pick him over someone who has cc, can clear waves and can defend / contest objectives easier and can probably kill you just as easily. you are already a detriment to your team as a yi player i don´t understand why you expect him to also lose 1v1s to the weakest of weak. every assassin could have engaged u easier, burst you faster and escaped saver than him.

just don´t feed him early and see how he becomes completely useless in the mid game where he has still no items and people start grouping. he can´t do anything at this point and relies completely on his teammates to carry him through the fights. with a one way engage and no cc his team has to basically win a 4v5 just so that yi can swoop in at the end and clean up because that´s the only thing he is good at and the only thing that will keep him relevant in the game.

he is a win more or lose more champ, who feels bullshit to play against when ahead and useless on your team when behind.

To beat yi, you either cc him and kill him, or you simply blow him up to the point where he backs out.

But tbh, most, if not all adcs, get rekt by yi solo

Outside of CC, the most sure-firing way of killing him is having a strong early jungler to chase after Yi the entire game. That way even if he gets on top of you, he's completely useless and will just die, from being incredibly starved and unfed.

Many junglers can easily achieve this without effort given the kind of balance state he is in and how weak he is early, examples include Sejuani, Udyr, Xin Zhao, Rammus. Especially Rammus, this guy is born with the sole purpose of hard-countering auto-attack champions.

Though not particularly favoured in the meta, Fiddlestick is also an extreme hard counter-pick for Yi as well.

Let's just say it's far easier to wreck a Yi's day than for him to have the snowball rolling, as long as you have some slight idea of what goes into his ass.
