What cassio realy needs + Request for the mage update

First of all , lets not be selfish and do NOT start to rework cassio as a FULL poison champ ; because it didnt worked when they tried to focus all her power in twin fangs .. Honestly i miss the old cassio's poison , but lets not get rid of her twin fangs . There is a silence playerbase who enjoy twin fangs . I like both like many cassio players , so the better thing to do is to balance her in order to make her kit 50 % poison , 50 % burst .

  • Add something new to her ult so it can feel cohesive to the rest of her kit

  • Dont make it a noob champ that everyone can play ( PLEASE!!! )
  • I would love to do some decent dmg before 665435 min . If you try to make cassio a scaling champion again , please dont make the powerspike too long to reach

  • Can we have any confirmation from a rioter that she will get reworked . i realy doubt that cassio will ever get what she deserves , because riot simply dont care at all . The lack of true answers leave me hopeless

They just need to make her Q and W either a real damage threat or utility threat, right now they literally only exist to allow you to use Twin Fang and that's pathetic

Do you people not realize that her Q base damage literally wasn't changed with the rework and her E was by far her main source of damage pre rework just as it is now?

What the rework did was make it harder to spam Q to force people out of lane, and that's because a champion who scales extremely well into the lategame shouldn't be a massive lane bully. She's always been about her E.

I half agree and half, disagree. I don't think she's that far off the mark, but a new utility to her Q definitely would be nice.

I actually find the passive to be fine. it uses to be that the mini game was ridiculous, but now it's actually manageable. Though considering the shorter average game length, perhaps it should scale faster.

That's counter intuitive for making her competitive. Why would I pick someone who is high risk, high reward, when I can play someone a lot more reliable? Probably one of the reasons why higher CC or utility may be helpful. Cause you will still be helpful even if you fall behind.

that probably can't happen without changing her abilities. As they are not that difficult mechanically speaking. With some more intricet mechanics, you could make a champ with a low skill floor but a high skill cap. And that might be nice.

Cassiopeia should be reworked with mechanics that support her theme and lore; poison and deception.

Poison should be integral to her kit, and perhaps her skills could revolve around using a combination of debilitating effects (health drain, slow, blindness, silence etc) in order to cut out her victim's options before killing them. Cass isn't supposed to be a hyper-mobile assassin but rather a cruel death-dealer who revels in taking advantage over her opponent when they least expect it.

There's a lot of potential for Cass for administer different kinds of poisons in her kit and have them interact different depending on the combination that she uses. Taking a bit of real-world inspiration here; there are well known variants of venom across different species of snakes (neurotoxins and cytotoxins for example) and it would be interesting to see those translated into gameplay mechanics.

Hmmm as it is I think Cassiopeia fills a pretty similar role as Ryze being immobile but high DPS mages with medium range

Unpopular opinion time!

I actually like this new passive more than the old passive. But before you start downvoting know this: I'm not saying that her new passive is good i'm saying it's better.

Allow me to explain:

Old passive: Spam spells and run out of mana in order to slightly reduce her mana costs (Which won't matter because you're already out of mana.) [This has the unfortunate side effect of forcing people playing Cassiopeia to stack mana regen, which gets nerfed.]

New passive: Keep things poisoned and build up some stacks in order to gain a big buff if you can keep your farm going.

To me, her new passive is an improvement but I can agree on it being an annoying gateway on her power, and I would be happy to have a new, new passive. But please: Not the old one.

Personally, I like her current QWE. It gives me a clear focus on how to do damage with her kit: Keep someone poisoned and then light them up with E, reapply poison as needed. (Perhaps we could even make E reapply poison?)

However, as some other people have posted, her R doesn't make a lot of sense aside from "SEE GUYS IT'S MEDUSA THE GORGON STONE STATUES GREEK MYTHOLOGY GET IT?!?!?!"

What I'd enjoy seeing would be a new ult that allows her to cycle through extra poison effects:

Neurotoxin: Increases Cassiopeia's DOT damage duration.

Hemotoxin: Does extra damage based upon target's maximum health.

Dendrotoxin: Slows the target while they are taking poison damage.

But I'm just thinking out loud here, I'd love to hear feedback.

I don't understand how people can complain about her damage being low at ANY point in the game, including early game... I recently played her as support and was easily out damaging carries (on both teams) in both burst and sustain, despite them having more gold and me getting both sightstone and FQC for appropriate support utility.

It wasn't a very long game and I managed to hit max stacks on both her passive and archangel's/seraph's which just made me do EVEN MORE DAMAGE. I wasn't catching up to others in damage, I was blowing them away. I get that people don't like her passive and I agree it doesn't really 'make sense' (though that's honestly true of MANY passives in League) but calling it a 'gate' is just bs. I know the OP in this particular thread didn't call it that explicitly but they did imply it strongly. To me it felt like a reward I worked for.

I love her R thematically so part of me doesn't want to see it changed but I agree it doesn't really play that interestingly with the rest of the kit. It fits the "hyper carry" style somewhat by helping her punish people if they try to engage on her but lots of potential abilities could easily do that as well. I worry that half the people who play her would hate to see it go and half would love to see it go.

Semi related to Cass... I really feel that TotG/Archangel's should be changed to only work by hitting things with abilities, not simply on cast. That would of course require lowering the number of stacks a bit and increasing the mana per stack to balance things out. I think it's worth rewarding people for actually interacting with stuff and not incentivizing them to cast spells just for stacks at the fountain and while just walking places. I also feel that it should reach max stacks slightly faster than it does now, though that may need to accompany a small ryze nerf.

Cass' R feels really unhelpful most of the time because it's completely reliant on enemies facing her. Either buff it or scrap it for something else.
