Interested in what it takes to get the prestige pop-star Kai’sa skin [2,500 tokens]? Here’s how on a week by week basis.

*Some event missions remain unannounced as to when they will take place in-game, but the majority seem easy enough to complete when they do happen. As such, they’ll be listed as default tokens earned by the END of the completion table. These missions are: Watch LoL E-sports (50 tokens), and the secret mission[s] confirmed by Riot (40 tokens). So let’s start!

As you probably already know, in order to get the kai’sa skin, you also need tokens from additional games based on performance. Some way, somehow, if you do everything perfectly, you will still need to get a net of 1,210 ADDITIONAL tokens (or 202 extra per “week”).

**Week 1: Sept. 27 – Oct. 7 **

Tokens from Missions: 40
Tokens from winning one game (1st mission): 10
Tokens from Purchase of Worlds 2018 Pass: 200
1st Win of Day (11 days): 165
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 617

Week 2: Oct 8. – Oct 14

Tokens from Missions: 40
Pick’ems (group stage bracket): 10
1st Win of the Day (7 days): 105
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 974

Week 3: Oct. 15 – Oct 21

Tokens from Missions: 40
Pick’ems (Play-off stage bracket): 10
1st Win of the Day (7 days): 105
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 1,331

Week 4: Oct. 22 – Oct 28

Tokens from Missions: 40
Tokens From Tales from the Rift: 40
1st Win of the Day (7 days): 105
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 1,718

Week 5: Oct. 29 – Nov. 4

Tokens from Missions: 40
1st Win of the Day (7 days): 105
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 2,065

Week 6: Nov. 5 – Nov. 11

Tokens from Missions: 40
1st Win of the Day (7 days): 105
Performance Score tokens: 202 • To be on track: 2,412

Misc./Hidden Missions • Bonus tokens (Watch LoL E-sports and secret mission[s]): 90 tokens • To Be on track: 2,502

So how hard is it “REALLY” to get the extra tokens based on performance? Well, let’s assume you started a bit late and are taking up the task with 40 days left. 1,210/40 = 31 extra tokens per day. Let’s just say 8 tokens is the average per game you can gain (you can gauge how hard this is by yourself by looking at the table below)… it would be about 4 Summoner Rift games a day. So… roughly 2 hours of playing per day for 40 days. This also assumes you don’t want to spend the tokens on ANYTHING else.

8 tokens on average would be like saying: you win 2 summoner's rift with at A- or higher and win 2 more with a B+ or below (so kind of optimistic, but it is in the ball park). But if the average was 6 tokens, then you win 2 summoner's rift with A- or higher and lose 2 with a B+ or below so that is only 1 extra game a day (not terrible).

If you had a job and could only play 1 game through Monday-Thursday... then on Friday THROUGH Sunday you would need to play 24 games to make up for your absence IF your average Performance score income was sitting around 8 tokens a game.

**UPDATE**
According to this source: &lt; http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Missions >, you all have an additional week to achieve tokens with 40 tokens more being granted in missions. It's listed as the K/DA event. Let me know in the comments if you want me to include this week in the calculations.

Good luck! Just remember if you do the miscenllaneous/hidden missions before Nov. 11 then you'll need to be that many tokens ahead per week. (Since I treat them as simply a bonus 'til the very end).

Great guide! I'm really hoping that the skin is good. I don't play that much kai'sa but I still really like the character. This is helping me see how much more stuff i can get past kai'sa I'm already past the week 1 goal. XD

Nice! Just remember "week 1" was really 11 days in total, so don't get discouraged if you aren't getting further and further ahead. Also, the guide may be slightly off ---> Riot said the event would last 54 days in total but the dates from Sept. 27 to Nov. 11 gives only 45. Not sure if Riot mis-typed or you have all of November to help grind more "first win of the day" tokens or not! So the guide simply plays on the "safe" side of things.

Just hit 1282 tokens today, still chugging along, that's half way there! Also I don't think you need to update this even if there is an extra week. It's already doable with your suggestions and Its always better to play it on the safe side in case that ends up being an extra week to complete missions instead of also gaining tokens.

Very far behind mate. You pretty much HAVE to get the pass in order to be on track. It's simply because you need the first win of the day tokens and score tokens also, which you can't gain without the pass.

I heard you can only get 400 tokens total without the pass and it's first win of the day bonus. Basically a free skin shard for the event if you don't want to at least buy the pass.

I'm actually kind of scared that I won't have enough tokens when the event ends. I bought the pass late and only have 500 tokens at the moment. Anyone think I have a fighting chance given I can grind enough for 2000 more tokens.

So I think you have a fighting chance still. If you're 100 tokens behind that's like 10 extra games over the course of a month which isn't too bad. You could knock those out in a day I suppose if needed. I should mention that Riot announced the event would last a total of 54 days, but Sept. 27 to Nov. 11 is only 45 days. Possibly they mis-spoke or possibly there are additional days that you can catch up. Best to play it safe and expect it to end Nov. 11th though [in my opinion].

Yeah, Im trying to play these games, but I was so unlucky today and lost 5 games in a row. So good to know that I can spend 3 hours to get 15 tokens :)

So I already used the 200 tokens bonus that came with the world pass, and I am currently at 816 world tokens. So as far as I see I am quite far behind at 15th of October?

Slightly behind, but still doable! About 3 weeks left so you got a lot of time to "make up" for that. Although I would not count on the "after party" event, I would also include that as a possibility to say you are actually right on track. I only presented the safe scenario that was 100% confirmed by Riot.

So I got 140 token and 1608 stashed So If i bought the world pass it will be 140+1600+200=1940 in total Can I still make it? And btw will this cost rp in addition to the tokens?

Bro you have like 3 weeks, you can get there easily. If you earn like 30 tokens a day you should be fine. Also no, the prestige skin just costs the 2500 tokens. No extra charge. 👍🏻

So I am super late to the party. I have 915 tokens at this time. Anyone think I can make it? How many games would I need? :/ I really like the skin and want it but sadly I was really busy first 2 weeks...

It is possible and how likely depends on how busy you will be for the upcoming weeks. Assuming you get a bolster of time, it is very possible since some people were able to get ahead by 300 tokens in just the first week alone. If you want to avoid paying RP and assume you make 8 tokens average per game, then you are about 50 games behind. Spread over the time period of a minimum of 3 weeks (possibly 4--- See my UPDATE section at the very bottom of the post), then assume 18 extra games per week. Basically, you'd have to play an extra game a day than what I already recommended above to be "safely" on track.

My update section simply lists a URL that suggests that Riot will extend the period to earn tokens with the after party event... in which case you have an extra week to gain tokens and are only a few games behind IF THAT IS THE CASE. This post is meant to be on the side of caution as opposed to cutting things close.

If you don't make it but have around 2k tokens but no money for RP? Buy the position orbs (not world orbs) that will be released with the Tales from the Rift event since they will probably give you the most value for the tokens you earned.

Update since the last time I posted I had a free day from everything. Managed to get to 1079, so I actually believe it is possible aswell now, I do need a bit more games than other people that are on track still. I am counting the possible 4th week won't happen so I am gonna grind more, if I am missing around 500 tokens I will probably buy it since the grind I put up on it would be kinda wasted. Week 3 needed about 1300 tokens to be on track and we're almost done with week 4 which needs 1700 tokens. If you're able to collect 1,100 tokens by the end of this week, then you will still be about 75 games behind with 14 days remaining. In order to catch up to my safe schedule, that's about 8 or 9 games a day. (5 of those games are "make-up" games for being behind.)

If you decide to count on another week for the "after party" event, then you have to play about 6-7 games a day (3 of those games are "make-up" games.) You can always buy more tokens, but otherwise the grind will be relatively tough at this point. It is certainly possible, but I have no idea how busy your daily life is.

I’m at 2400 tokens. But I spent 700 on golden chroma and border for riven. At 1700. I’m annoyed because I need another 400 for golden Janna Halloween. Tbh this event sucks ass. You have to spend $$$ if you want more than just the prestige skin...and/or have no life at all.

I agree with you here. The prices of additional gold chromas/borders are extremely high for how little you get from a game. Based on the "Tales from the Rift" event, we can even expect to see a set of gold chromas and borders for the K/DA line... hopefully the prestige edition is all a massive bundle or else you might have to grind another 300 tokens for the border on top of it. Gold chroma for prestige kai'sa too? I certainly hope not. lol

That would be a little ridiculous LOL. If they plop down an extra 700 tokens for a border and a chroma for the prestige kai'sa. That would be 3200 total, which is doable if you're ahead already but jeez you would't be able to get any of the other harrowing stuff without actually no life-ing it.

tbh this was a price grab through and through. I had to resort to paying for the 60,000 RP package where you get the 400 world tokens or whatever? This was so I could play only a few games a day or skip days (I work FullTime), so I could still get Prestige Kaisa. That was barely enough for a championship chroma, let alone the border.

Sigh whatever.

They're going to keep doing this too.....my issue with it too is that Riot knows some people will main a champ and seeing this exclusive skin will basically force them to play/potentially buy orb packs. As someone who played a lot of kaisa, I feel like I had no choice but to do this event :X

I was doing really good on being on track, but then I got distracted by the shiny Janna skin (since I'm a Janna main, oops). Is there any way you could help me with my math on how many games of SR I would have to play per week to catch up again? I'm sitting just over 1000 tokens right now.

I don't think it's practical, but just curious.

Hi! I can help. since the window for earning tokens closes on November 19th. it seems you would have to earn around 70 tokens per day until then to be able to aquire the kai’sa skin

It's not confirmed that you can earn tokens until the 19th of November. If you want to be save, you should get enough tokens before the 11th.

I feel horribly cheated cause the skin is really nice. But if it takes this much effort or money, I honestly feel that they need to add a bit more than just slightly altered outfit and an added gold color palette.

Grab 40 tokens per day(first win + 25) to get it on the 19th with 4 or 5 extra tokens. Your aren't really that behind. Though a week before you might want to make sure token gains end on the 19th. If it turns out it ends earlier, all you would have to do is play one extra game win or lose.
