I can't be the only one that thinks Soraka is an unhealthy champion.

Now, I'm not saying she's overpowered, but she isn't fun to lane against. As another preface, I do play poke lanes more than I do engage lanes, and I do understand, poke loses out to sustain, or that's how it should be, however, with how soraka's kit works, there's no way to really win as a poke lane versus a lane with raka, UNLESS you manage to avoid her Q every time.

With every other support that has sustain, their sustain costs mana, and as a poke lane, I can keep on chipping away until that's gone, and I can then poke them down to my hearts content. With soraka, as long as they don't touch E, I can't touch them. At least that's how it seems to me. And if you do get into a fight for some reason, you can't focus the adc, because raka will heal the damage done up, unless you're this super bursty lane, which doesn't happen too much early game bot side, there are some exceptions, and you can't focus raka, because adc damage. It's frustrating to play against in almost any situation.

raka w does cost quite a bit of mana, she cant spam both q and w

Soraka does NOT outsustain Zyra. In fact Zyra is a great counter pick to her and has a much higher play rate at the moment because she is so good at lane bullying.

You should be able to avoid Soraka's Q most of the time too. It is one of the easier abilities in this game to dodge. Not only that, but Q and W cost a lot of mana if you're using them together. She runs out of it quickly and spamming Q's isn't worth it early game unless you're winning the lane. They often won't connect.

Another thing you guys are misleading people about is who Soraka has an easy time in lane against.

The nerfs to her W left it at a high cooldown early game, so she no longer is a great pick against poke champions like Jhin, Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, and Varus because they can do a lot of damage early game and she can't heal it back quickly anymore. If you're having trouble as a poke champion, make sure you keep the pressure up.

Bot side is one of the more deadlier lanes. Marksmen are so overloaded now, and they no longer are as weak as they once were early game. You can easily burst down the enemy ADC because her W cooldown is 8 sec / 6.5 sec / 5 sec / 3.5 sec / 2 sec at each rank. Her power is later on in the game.

wow, the 3-4 reworks she's receive wasn't clue enough? unless they give her a total overhaul, she will never be healthy, she will always be either too strong or too weak while all the more frustrating to play against. They can't just overhaul her because almost every overhaul ever has been met with great disdain, Karma and Mordekaiser especially, she is just fucked.

Well they nerfed her early game CD didn't they?

I agree though, Soraka out-sustains even Zyra.

Um I feel like I'm missing something. Soraka's sustain was just heavily nerfed since her 2 second heal was increased to 8 seconds in the laning phase. Her heal also costs 10% of her health and a decent chunk of mana. If she is maxing her heal to reduce the cooldown then she does no damage, you should be winning trades against her damage wise. If she is maxing her q then her heal remains on a long cd and her sustain is from landing her q and transferring the hot component to her adc to keep them up. In this scenario her burst healing doesn't exist and you should be winning trades if you are properly dodging her starcalls. Soraka is a strong if you are misplaying against her, but she is not frustrating to play against if you know which path she is focusing on and punish her accordingly.
