would learning zed or azir even be worth it at this point
i don't keep up with the meta of things much but would trying to get good at zed or azir help at this point
are either of them any good at the moment

Zed is not worthless at all, I still find him a little bit OP while playing him because the damage you get if you lane double shurikens is absolutely crazy.
Azir is one of the strongest champs in the game, but also the most difficult to master. You can see him in LCS all the time, and he can solo carry games because his kit is insanely good. But you have to put in at least 200 games on him to even begin to know what you're doing.
Any champ is worth playing if you find them fun.
Zed is one of the easiest champions and azir is one of the hardest.
Azir's being looked at for more nerfs, I'd say do it if you want the SKT Azir skin but otherwise wait to see if the nerfs are gonna be hard.

if you can get them pass the perma ban me and other players put on them and if you turn out to be a good azir and zed player its perfectly reasonable that a champion may not fit your style of game play and thats what I think riot doesnt factor in when they dumpster fighters that arent juggernauts and tanks that cant shift to damage
Zed is trash and unreliable. Yes, his damage in itself is decent and strong. Like any other assassin though, he's single target, meaning, come mid/late when people stick together, he suffers. In addition, with his kit having an inherent delay of 3s for the full burst as opposed to instant deletion, it makes it easy to survive his ult come that point in the game.
Azir is god-tier in LCS. To be blunt, I am sure you will probably never ever get to that level of playing skill. Outside of LCS, LCS-level players, and then the extremely proficiently skilled Azir mains with over hundreds of games on him, he is absolute, gutter trash, and literally one of the worst mid picks in the entire game right now.w
Neither is worth learning in my opinion.
If you are good enough at them they are worth it.

I would say play both. There mechanics are somewhat strong so in the meta or not to learn them is always a plus. There both strong. Azir is nerf city to riot and zed if fed or good comp is a pain. Zed is fun.
