Why do people build this item on luc......seeing he cant use the passive effectively so im unsure why. Man its op on him.....how? It has 20% cdr umm it had 30% before soooo yah. Its best on corki ashe varus....you get the point cc engage ult or low cd ult on corki that you can spam

The CDR on AA doesn't activate until after you auto someone after you ult. You have 10 seconds to activate it.
KlydeFrog1 votesIts not efficient is why. Big difference between ashe corki and varus and vayne all who which use ults constantly. Not him. Your literally going to ult cancel ukt immediately to make use of passive? Ive had people say it has 20% cdr .....lol umm it was 30% and had crit on it.

KlydeFrog1 votesHas nothing to do with essence reaver. As you noticed it was as i said was ulting canceling just to proc passive so whats your point. Old essence reaver did the samething with 30% cdr and crit. So yah. Also if you wanted it to be efficient get triforce so you have 40% cdr plus another 20% cdr from essence flare .

ModWulf Helhammer1 votesThis isn’t 30% CDR. This is 20% of whatever cooldown you still have on the ability. On each attack.
Say you have a 10 second cooldown. With 30% CDR, that’s 7 seconds. That’s it.
With new ER, that’s 8 seconds from the get go. Then, when you attack, it’s reduced by 1.6 seconds, down to 6.4. Attack again and it’s now at 5.1. Again, 4 seconds. And this is all happening incredibly fast with Lucian’s passive and the high attack speed also given by the item passive.
If you can’t see the difference, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Not sure how you dont see that but okay. And if he the person in the video wanted to be more efficint in damage. Get triforce over blade of the ruined king. So you have a flat 40% cdr. Also hell why im at it getting frozen mallet and iceborn wpuld be more efficint the blade. The purpose behind blade is for his passive the purpose behind triforce is his passive and triforce was a go to item on him same as runaans which runaans is atill great on him. But clearly you dont see it . also sivir its better on and cait if you do it right but then again caits been a aa adc and spell adc so there is that. But your missing the point. Most people never got essence reaver on him before so how are you even arguing a 30% cdr with crit vs a 20% cdr with out crit and conditions on ult canceling just to use the passive? Really less cdr less damage how are you even trying to argue that
