Space dragon changes.
Hello there! Now some people may have seen the proposed changes and most people probably haven't, now I am by no means an A. Sol main but I am posting this on behalf of my friends that love the champion dearly but don't bother with the boards. From what I can gather from the list is that A. Sol is being pushed much harder into cross map Qs and short engages with his W. Now this seems very contrary to how A Sol was designed to play and it seems like a lot of extra effort and breaking of how he functions currently in game to try to add "skill expression". Now I add quotation marks here because there is nothing wrong with giving a champion more tools and options if the change is balanced to reward skillful play, however this change to his W seems more to be a nerf or side grade at best for his only real damage tool. Although A Sol isn't very mechanically intensive he does require excellent positioning to be effective later in the game and even then he seems to fall of quite hard lacking any real burst and his DPS not being able to compete with some other close range casters due to the time between star hits. So I propose a simple solution that helps the cosmic wyrm late game where he needs it and leaving his early game the same to be adjusted after some settling. Give Aurelion Sol another star in his passive for each level in his ultimate, that's it, that simple. They have already proven it works because it's how they buff him to be even remotely viable in URF. Thank you to anyone who read up until this point and if you have any suggestions or ideas please leave them below and vote on this idea to see if Riot may give it a thought. Good luck in your games and stay positive my doods.
