What happened to the rune combiner?

Anybody knows? I haven't used it since I was around level 25 which was more than a year ago or something and I thought I should just try it out for my tier 2 runes and when I head off to my rune page the Rune Combiner button isn't there. Did they remove it in a patch or something?

Ya, the prices of T1 and 2 Runes were dropped drastically; it'd simply be insanely more cost efficient (though random) to just buy a bunch of T1 runes and combine them. So they just got rid of it. I guess you're stuck with a ton of weak Runes if you have them, I'm not sure.
