Ezreal Support

It's kind of funny how many people dodge norms where I say I'm going ap ezreal support and they don't even give it a chance. Im a plat 4 supp main and I like experimenting with support picks. Both games I've played so far I've actually done really well with it. I'm not sure if I will play it ranked but I might because it's pretty annoying to play against in lane.

I just think its funny how people dodge when they don't know that I'm actually pretty skilled with the champ. It's just I don't like playing him mid or adc because I don't like attacking creeps. Give it a chance people. And if you think I suck at it look at my match history thus far and the dmg I've done. (granted theres only 2 games XD)

Edit: Current match history with ezreal supp is 2-2

(curse you ziggs mid who afk'd and did 6k dmg while ekko did 65k dmg! you're not helping my results :( )

I think the main problem is the lack of CC. Ultimately leaving your ADC very vulnerable, esp to ganks.

You have literally 0 cc. Just because you are good at a champ doesnt mean they automatically fit into any role because you want to play them. I dominate as nasus and darius but i would never take them support, your adc would get obliterated.

I've toyed with the notion of what I would do if I hit the Random button after having to go Support and got Ezreal, but to intentionally pick him? I don't think I'd disagree with the dodge.

I assume you go AP simply so you can max your W as both a harass tool and as a buff to your ADC?

I mean come on if you want to play a nonmeta support perhaps put more thought into it you have poke in lane ok?? attack speed steroid? well you're ap so you're just gonna be giving it to your front line

Thing is, it's not that they don't your skill with it, it's that they don't trust their skill with it. Other than damage and boosting their abilities (Ez boosts ally AS, right?), Ezreal doesn't have much in terms of protecting his allies. Not to mention that if the rest of the team lacks cc or whatever (they shouldn't, but people use the support as a crutch sometimes), they might not be hopeful about their chances.

I can see it, I suppose, but it's more of a double carry bot lane intended to deal damage over utility.
