Why is it so long? its awkwardly overpowered

That is if he hits you at max range. It pretty easy to see it coming from that far away. Usually the stun will last between 1-1.75 seconds.
Given the speed of the projectile and how long the stun is I think it is a fairly balanced ability, now the champ in my opinion is a different matter.
