@Meddler So Shen is getting a Re-rework?

> "Shen’s our most recent update and so far seems to be both fairly balanced and has improved game health compared to his previous kit. Overall, however, we don’t think he’s completely hit the mark thematically, with the floating sword feeling a bit disconnected from his fantasy. It’s not something we have plans to change - there are other champions that would benefit significantly more from having update time spent on them - but a lesson for when we take on future projects." <

This is extremely saddening news to hear for a Shen main.

I am sure you guys put allot of effort into those rework changes, but admitting that it didn't completely work while offering no plans on a change is a tough pill to swallow.

  • Does this mean in the distant future a re-rework will be needed?

  • What plans do you have to address the current state of Shen?

@Meddler Just revert Shen, he wasn't unbalanced or unhealthy. Just like any other champion a good Shen could lock you down and a bad Shen would struggle.

Holy hell for the love of god do I eventually hope so. As an old Shen maain with easily 1200 matches played with him, the rework was disasterous.

they are just saying thematicaly a floating sword for a ninja isn't working but that there are others that need more work but it will be a lesson for them if any champ deserves a new rework it would be cass or morde in my opinion i even played shen in his former form and now i have played a match with him its not all that bad only his sustain is tradet out for raw damage and the thing that hurt me the most was the Q farm is gone (i have a small idea tho if shen could walk over his sword and then throw it with Q then you would be able to reposition it and farm from afar and when you don't hold it and press Q it stays the same so Q pull it to you Q throw it away)

He says right in the exact quote you posted:

It’s not something we have plans to change
